The wife and I are planning a trip to Hedonism II in Jamaica next year and are reaaaally looking forward to it. We've never done anything like this so it should be an adventure. There are plenty of Caribbean destinations that have clothing optional. Hedonism also is much more open and liberal in terms of swinging and encouraging that lifestyle...... To each his own..... I think it is mostly just a nudist thing but there are swingers there looking for other swingers. Either way I hear it is a beautiful place. I hear it's beautiful also. Not interested in swinging though. Then why do you ask on LS???? Finding clothing optional beaches in the Caribbean is no big deal. Hedonism however is a sexually charged resort, with many younger singles and couples looking for "fun".... If you are okay, then all the power to you. But from everything I hear it's not the swing happy paradise that the name might suggest. Jan and Feb are big swinger times because swinger groups from all over plan group trips for those months. Other than that what you do is on you, with no pressure, from what I understand. Basically couples enjoying the nude fun in the sun Have you ever been to Hedo? Maybe you can shed some light. I have been to Jamaica more times then I can count and I would say with what you are looking for I think you should stick to something more like Sandals. That has the vibe you're looking for. Hedonism resorts are absolutely full of swingers. You and your wife both together and separately will get offers for sex. If thats not what you're looking for then I don't recommend that spot for you. Sandals is adults only and some of them(Royal Caribbean for sure) have topless or nude beaches but really aren't focused on swinging thing. Link to post Share on other sites

This is my impression too, having done homework on these places for Mexico, but not having stayed at them, but stayed at the tamer places. There's enough drunken offers to swing at the tame resorts without going to the swingers clubs. Bottom line is--if some drunk man puts his arm around your wife, are you going to be able to take it in stride, wait for her to gently tell him to remove it,or are you going to want a fist fight right then and there? I think your temperment and that of your wife are important in considering this. Almost all the resorts have parties/theme nights. Just go for any 'adult only' resort. For sure.. Yes they have lots of theme parties every night of the week. I haven't been to Hedonism but Im d*mn near considered a native of Jamaica and I know enough about Hedo to know I wouldn't want to go there. Speaking as a woman here... I wouldn't like the mix of large amounts of alcohol, sexual freedom, and my man. I would feel nervous the whole time knowing that my guy is going to get offers of sex constantly and knowing lots of alcohol may be included who knows what may happen. All of those things are fine if the sexual exploration part was out of the mix. I have had plenty a romantic/sexual vacation to the sandals resorts and at least there people stick to their own partner. The party themes I can think of are white night.. Everyone dresses in white and they have native food in the common area with lots of live entertainment. Then there is one night they paint one of the female employees seemingly naked in chocolate. Eh... the list goes on. It is fun. They do get the whole crowd involved in the entertainment so as to create a very social atmosphere. Link to post Share on other sites
