MsBlink
I'm new to LoveShack...so "hello" first and foremost. Alright, so I'm not getting married anytime soon, however, I want to get some other outlooks on my issues. I would like to get married someday, but I feel like marriage isn't taken seriously by so many people in America, that there's no use in going through the process. I mean, so many people have "marriages" without the legalization of it. Then again, I do believe in the Christian ways of people being unionized under God (that's what makes marriage so beautiful to me). I guess what I'm getting at is has anyone else felt that marriage is just a word and no longer a thought of lifelong union? Is it worth wanting? Just let me know what your feelings are towards this...Thanxs. ~MsBlink
Errol
When you meet the right person and fall in love you will have your answer. I'm for marriage and it DOES make a difference. Welcome to LS!
Leikela
Honestly, I don't think you should let society or other people make the decision for you on whether to get married or not. This is something that is soley YOUR decision. (and your partner's, of course) If you view marriage as a bond between two people and you truly believe in it, then what's the hesitation? If other people don't honor marriage, it doesn't mean that you can't. Just go with your heart.
