fortune tellers? yes or no?

Recommended Posts

ive gone too 2 my whole life. my mom is into all that religion soo i know many that do it. i was told when i was 17 about the man that i was with for years and about my daughter. another one had told me about a reconciliation i was going to have with someone in my past. she even described them to the point.(she did not know my mom..she was recommended by an old lady that i had met) today i was offered to go with a friend of the familys to see this lady that is said to be really good. but ive always had my wonders about it. how do they know? do many people beleive in it? would u really want to know about ur life? and is it true that they can see things? i have never understood the background of it all. but for what i have understood... many people out there do it and go to mediums and fortune tellers and shell readers.

I wouldn't go to a fortune teller for anything other than entertainment purposes. I accept that I drive the eventual results that materialize in my life, so I'm the best predictor of what is going to happen to me.

I did visit one at a fair once (again, for a laugh) and she was cheap. She told me I had met the man I was going to spend the rest of the my life with, that I would have 3 children despite not wanting any, and that I would soon change careers.

She was incorrect on all counts. :)

crestfallennomore :but a fair isnt really somewhere a real fortune teller would be. soo then why do so many people beelive that dead spirits talk to them. why do they gooo around like crazy nuts saying some spirit possesed them. at first i though it was a joke but then i just got a little freaked out. they would take of their shoes and walk weird.

Goodgrief: i hope u didnt pay her. ur dad must have laughed his butt off.

I guess I don't consider physical location to be a measuring stick of the "realness" of a profession that I believe provides only entertainment value. No stranger will have more answers about the direction of my life and goals than I.
