Stung
Just me or does she have green eyes? She might not be full Indian. India is a huge and complicated country with multiple 'races' each with their own culture, language, and common phenotype. Lighter eyes are not as unusual in India as you'd think. I'm not a guy, but I have dated some women, and one of them was ethnically Indian. She had really beautiful black eyes and skin like velvet. We only went out for a couple of months but parted ways amicably, she was a good person and very attractive IMO.
LisaLee
Well, I'm not a guy, but I find Indian women to be highly attractive. That being said, I generally find people with naturally darker skin to be more attractive. It's a wonder how I ended up with the whitest white boy on the planet. =/

Wave after wave of conquering peoples have created India's upper class. I'm guessing they are probably more genetically diverse. Well, I'm not a guy, but I find Indian women to be highly attractive. Dark skin has from time immemorial been associated with poverty and manual labor. Even today light skin is a highly prized trait in many countries. So should you really be that surprised? LisaLee
Even today light skin is a highly prized trait in many countries. So should you really be that surprised? Yes, because I generally prefer darker skin, and have always been with (and was married to) someone with darker skin. Are you saying I'm with my SO because his white skin is prized in my society? tincanman99
Depends on the woman like any other race. Some are attractive, some arent. You cant generalize about it just like you cant say all of X are Y. I dated and lived with an Indian woman for over a year. She was Desi which means she was born here in the US. She was no different than any other American woman. No accent and completely Americanized. When you saw her you couldnt figure out whether she was Indian, Italian, Greek, Hispanic, Israeli, Middle Eastern or what. I am of Italian extraction and my relatives did not know what she was when they met her. I had huge amounts of aggravation with her parents in particular. Blatant hostility and racism. Though they had been in the US for over 20 years they were totally insular and wanted her to have an arranged marriage. They even picked her major when she before she went to college. This is not uncommon. I was hot for an Indian girl at my gym for a while but she totally kept to herself despite making huge amounts of eye contact at times. Even after I said hi and tried to get her to talk I was avoided. That being said most Indian women from India have arranged marriages and most will not date outside of their culture. PS. Before anyone says anything about being an Asian fetishist, I am an equal opportunity man - I like em all as long as you are cute

Are you saying I'm with my SO because his white skin is prized in my society? Not really. I'm just saying that it's statistically not surprising that you found a SO with light skin. Dark skin preference from what I've seen primarily exists in area's where that trait is rare. Also... women are more apt to like dark skin than men, though it seems to be on a bell curve where female preference shy's away from both extremes.

Where I come from, girls dig ORANGE skin... on themselves! I'm not even kidding, all of my girlfriend's paint themselves with the shiet. Gotta love me some fake tanage. Mutant Debutante
I think UF is more talking about like a fetish for the unusual, which can be a totally different thing from just appreciating another look. I'm sure there are plenty of white chicks living in white land who fantasize about the exotic dark guy, but I know lots of people who live in really multiculti areas with lots of different and dark skin shades around who prefer darker skin shades. jean-luc sisko
I don't mean this to be a racist thread in any form. Substitute Indian for blonde or short or thin and you get the picture. I know that many men are into Asian women. I am just wondering if in general Indian women are considered hot. To me, Indian women are the hottest on Earth. I don't know why, but there is something about the dark skin, dark hair and dark eyes that just gets me.
runner
i've been attracted to a handful of indian girls and quite a few half-indian girls. if you're hot, you're hot. end of. doesn't matter what continent your heritage comes from.

I think it's because I find darker skin attractive too.
how2forgive&2forget
It's a subcontinent. Down south girls are darker, up north they look white (that's because they ARE caucasian). Near their borders there's a bunch of chinese/filipino east asian looking girls. It's not like Japan or Korea whose population are homogenous. So you can have Udita Goswami looking girls (gorgeous!) who have a more delicate looking features or Bipasha Bisu or Aishwarya Rai with large eyes/nose /lips (also gorgeous). SincereOnlineGuy
Guys: do you find Indian women attractive? In New Dehli, maybe I wouldn't so much, but in North America, they bring unique skin color that I'm drawn to!
