Getting a little too excited while dancing (not grinding)

I'm 29 and I really enjoy Salsa dancing and have been doing it for a little over a year. Right now I'm taking it for the third time at my university.

 

The main benefit of the class is that not only is it possible to put my hands all over attractive young women, it's required

 

While it has not happened that often there have been occasions where I have gotten too excited while dancing with a girl. Even though I'm trying to focus on the steps and not look down her top, some girls are just too sexy and there's nothing I can do; about getting excited, not looking down her top

 

So far there has only been one time it reached full attention and I had to excuse myself to the restroom to clear my thoughts. When I felt that I had regained composure I went back to dance with her but I quickly realized that it just wasn't going to happen.

 

There have been other times where I could tell I was becoming close to getting in trouble so I had to prematurely thank the girl for the dance and take a seat. Today was the most recent time.

 

I'm wondering what proper etiquette is for when dancing. If I'm having a good time with a girl and something decides to pop-up, do I have to stop and walk away from her while thinking of an excuse (maybe tell her the truth)? Or can I just keep on trucking? What does the girl think when she notices that the guy doesn't have a pen in his pocket? Does it make a difference if it's in a class where you see the same people every week or if you are out at a club?

"Hard" to say. It depends on a lot of things if it's cool or not to the girls. Are you good-looking and gregarious--putting women at ease? They'll probably be more inclined to overlook it or perhaps even privately fancy it if your "readible" in those regards. If your personality is a big question mark and you're not an icon of male beauty, the ladies might think you a "creep". I think you're doing the right thing--acting considerately and having a conscience about it. Obviously you're not a creep because you are modest about it and are not exploiting your situation. You're probably OK with the girls and get the benfit of the doubt--as long as you don't get lechy. What more can anyone ask for?

Don't keep dancing or tell her you have an erection. In a class (rather than a club where interest would be easier to read) you could easily seem creepy.

First off getting a boner around a pretty girl is a great feeling. Just adjust your pants and crotch area so your boner is going straight up paralel to your body and kinda tuck it in gently (comfortably) under your belt area. Where pants that not only look cool but allow you to do this. I've used this trick my whole life. This adjusting ur boner so it goes straight up under your belt technique coupled with a shirt that is not tucked in and hangs slightly over the belt area makes it completly invisible almost. And really if they end up dancing up against it when its tucked up like that they will never know at least not for sure and then u can just enjoy.

I'm actually trying to avoid jacking it as an experiment to see if it affects how I interact with women on a day-to-day basis. Unfortunately Salsa dancing can be a very intense interaction that's outside of the norm.

Yeah, that's what I have been doing. It just feels sad that I would have to stop dancing with an attractive woman because I thought she was too attractive. They aren't that many in class and it feels like a rare treat to be able to be with her for a couple of minutes. Especially since it won't happen outside of class.

Thanks for the tip. Though for me I'd have to wear my pants really low to be able to do that. God forbid I do anything that causes my shirt to raise Wearing boxers pretty much accomplishes the same thing, so I guess I can wear them on class days as a precaution.

The method I gave you works perfect. And good job on the holding back on the jacking off. If you have to try to limit your jacking off too once a week. Once every 2 weeks would be even better.
