loverofloveandstuff
I haven't gained any weight lately, but I feel like a lot fatter than I usually do. For the record, my weight has been fluctuating between 105-107 pounds. I used to be very active and athletic, but lately I've been neglecting my physique. Is it possible that my body fat percentage has actually increased despite me not gaining weight?? Is it possible that my muscle has turned into fat?
Tim The Enchanter
It's physically impossible for muscle to turn into fat. What's happened is that you're probably consuming the same amount of calories as you did when you had more muscle mass. Now that you're not working out regularly, those calories are being stored as fat instead of being used to fuel and build muscle.
shadowofman
But it is possible that you have lost muscle mass and separately/simultaneously gained fat mass.
