Look it up - dictionary!

So many people don't care to understand the words they use. Sad really. Just say something random and hope it sounds right.

I know! Yuk! His malfunction - pedophilia.

ya, i can see a father now welcoming his 16 year old, not an adult, daughter into his home saying, "hey there 30 year old man...come on in and f### my daughter":o

Pedophilia requires one to be attracted sexually to sexually immature persons.

You think 16 year olds are sexually mature? Just because a girl has started menstruating does not make her sexually mature even though her body can reproduce. Girls can start menstruating as young as 9 and quite a few do these days.

I just report the weather, I don't make it. A pedo has to by definition be attracted to persons who have not yet developed significant secondary sexual characteristics. Whether they are "old enough" or "ready for" sex is irrelevant to the determination.

You know what they are where Silly_Girl lives? I confess, I do not, but I know that the laws do vary a lot worldwide and this is the Internet.

My MM is 25 years older. He is the biggest love of my life. And yes, when you are in love the age difference doesn't seem to be noticeable. To me at least. I am sure for other people it is shocking.

I find it interesting that most OW on here have been or are in relationships with older men, some significantly so. Older men have never interested me. All my significant relationships have been with younger men. My current MM is 11 years younger than me.

16 is the age of consent in my country as well. Might not make the parents very happy but is deemed old enough under the law to consent to have sex with whoever they want to, regardless of age...

And edited to add, why do people even bother replying to Dexter's posts? Ignore it and it might just go away...

Whereas a man who has a 19 year old daughter will be 100% likely to do and say something similar. Disingenuous.

Soooo Dex, care to revise and extend that pedo comment based on this information?

no, I still consider a 16 year old a child and not an adult.

doesn't matter, at that point they are considered an adult and can do as they please.

But as long as they live under their parents roof, they are not an adult.

When they turn 18 or graduate, they can do as they please.

But lets consider your argument, you think 16 is a perfectly acceptable age for a 30 year old to be bedding down?

How about 14? hell, why not 10?

I think age is an inaccurate indicator of maturity in cases like this.

Just curious..are you an "adult" (as in over 21)?

I routinely date women 16-25 years younger than I am and I don't break any laws.

I see you dodged the question, what age do you see them as fair game for sex? 12? when puberty hits?

you of the mindset of some men that if there is grass on the field, play ball?

After reading through this, I think 112233 is right in one thing.

It's clear that age and maturity don't always match up.

His point has been to try to prove that "girls" can be as mature as "women"...ergo making them eligible dating material for him. I think what's appearing more likely at this point is that the age and maturity mismatch may not be happening on the girl's side as he's claimed, but in the other person in the equation.

I thought I was clear, let me go again. I don't think there is a set magical age that works for every individual and situation. Is that clear enough?

yes, its clear that is a cop out answer.

I didn't ask about a magical age, I asked YOU what age YOU think is ok to have sex with a girl?

I don't know your age, but lets say you are 30. would you then think its ok to have sex with a 16 year old? 14? 12? What age would YOU consider?

Density is above normal here today.

Answer: Depends on the girl and the situation. There is no Universal age I can slather all over all cases. I hope you can grasp this on the third try.

in other words, if a 12 year old seems mature enough, and has gone through puberty, or whatever other criteria would satisfy you, then you would consider it. afterall, if there is no magical age, 12 would be ok as long as she fit your specific criteria.

thanks for the clarification.
