ukguy
Hi Everyone Am I reading to much into this or are these signs of an ex who still loves me. We split up about 7 weeks ago and I'd just like an outside perspective on certain things - particularly a woman's point of view but anyone's opinion would be welcome. She flirts with me on the phone - even telling me she is sexually deprived but in a jokey kind of way, I mean why would she say this to me? She was listening to some music while we were on the phone to each other and said it was making out music and that it was a shame she didn't have anyone to make out with. She could have just meant that as an innocent comment but I found it a strange thing to say to your ex? Over the past week she has asked me on 2 occasions if I have thought anymore about a girl who asked me out for a drink - which I declined and she knows I did She keeps bringing up a holiday/vacation we went on late last year, saying how good it was etc and things she loved about it She asks me to send her pictures of me and her taken on Christmas eve that she doesn't have a copy off Tells me she will be angry with me if I end up with an ugly girl?? lol She calls me darling, love etc and ends all her sms's to me with XXX Another thing to bear in mind is that we didn't split up after an argument or any infidelity etc, She is from an Asian background and her mother didn't approve of me and was quite nasty to her, and every so often this got my ex down. I'd be interested on opinions of people totally independent from the situation Thanks in advance
GiveAndTake
Do you want her back? Is that why you're asking? If you do, then you can get an anwer next time you're in a flirty conversation with her. You can say "too bad about that problem (or your mother or whatever reasons you broke up), otherwise we'd probably still be together". If she's thinking of getting back together, she'll defend the relationship, if not, she'll defend the reason you broke up.
BrainRightHeartWrong
whoa the race barrier could be one that she can't get around dude! my advice would be to let her make all the moves and you should have went out with that girl for a drink, that would have improved your reconciliation chances 1000% it sounds like in your situation you can have the most power here if you use your head BUT she probably won't choose you over her family, very few asians would do this, just look at the statistics!!!! if she dumped you make her do all the running i feel she is probably just trying to make herself feel better and YOU will be the one who will be rejected AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN
Tony T
The mother is the key here. Many Asians are extremely loyal to family and won't do anything to upset mama, PERIOD! Most of them will also go out of their way to spare people's feelings...to let them down easily. And most of them are very sincere. Her words and behavior now, I'm sure, are very sincere but she's using them to let herself down easily just as much as you. There's not much chance she's going to peeve her mama to get back with you. I'm really sorry about that but add that to your list of the millions of reasons women break up with men. Be kind to her because I'm sure she's a nice lady but be sure to do some research before you start getting serious with another lady, any lady, anywhere. Learn about why her past relationships dissolved and pay attention to how close she is to mama. If mama don't like you, you do have a chance with some younger, rebellious type girls but not the older ones. There are certain women who won't far without consulting mama or some other trusted person they may have had in their lives over many years...could even be a close girlfriend. If you do meet one of those, you have to butts to kiss...I mean court....instead of one. Why don't you send this girl's mama some flowers or something. You know, that might just work on her. You never know. If you can't resolve this, stop talking to her. Why would you want to put yourself through this?
Author ukguy
I'm new here, i'm just wondering why the title of my post was changed to - She breaks up with me, then tortures me with teasing... While that maybe true lol, i didn't want to present myself in that way. So could it be changed back
