jenny Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 hmmmm... ok; signs of possible interest. again, these only indicate a passing interest. the best 'real' sign is that he calls you and asks you out. if you are the type who likes being chased, don't assume anything, do not give the boy in question any second thoughts, until he actually asks you out. 1. body concentration - legs, head, eyes, focused on you even when others are there 2. small constant gifts 3. this is only one i really notice: arbitrary jealousy about your relationship with other guys. 4. willingness to put up with dumb chick stuff to be near you. 5. do you ever enter a room and know, somehow, when someone has been waiting for you despite doing other things? a guy who's really into you might give off that vibe all the time. 6. o! he wants to make future plans with you.

I agree with number 1. Number two not as much, i only tend to give gifts to people after i date them or are really good friends. 3. def true, i get annoyed when i see a chick that i like with other guys. 4. yes and no, i put up with that stuff for my friends who are girls mostly. 5 is true. 6 is true. Whenever I like a girl whenever I see her I try to make eye contact with her so I can give her a nice big smile and look into her eyes. I will talk to her more until i feel pretty confident to ask her out.

The gifts thing would, again, be probably after he had known you a while as a GF. Still, a gift is always a nice "I really like you" type of opener. Curt
RedneckRomeo Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 I agree with Curt's addition to #1 - 99% of the time I know where my crush is - and if I don't, it only takes 2 seconds to find her. There have been times its seemed like I could just feel her presence - I could just knew she was behind me or nearby - very strange feeling, especially when I turn and there she is. I usually focus on her - though sometimes I try and make it look like I'm not. I dont do much of #2, but #3 - I try to hide any jealousies but I certainly am when I see her with others. #4 - I'd put up with anything to be near her - even if its "dumb chick stuff" or other things that I'm clueless about. The rest of the 'rules' make sense too. I dont do too well when it comes to showing a girl I like her - I know that, but I know I've felt things or experienced things similar to these.

Of course I have asked this question plenty of times, but can kinda see if a guy is interested. So, I think the main thing is alot of eye contact and smiling. Even if the person is not much of a smiler, you can tell that they look at you in a different way then just anyone who might not be interested.

BUT IF THAT'S TRUE....then how come I'm not dating the guy that I like? THere's more flirting than just eye contact and smiling....
