Aaah. Stepped on the scale yesterday at 121. I knew I'd lost a little weight during this breakup, but I didn't think I'd gone that low. I'm just going to have to do a recomp. Put on some muscle. Lose some fat. I want to be in BB competition shape at least once in my life, so this is a great time to do it... when my appetite is nil and the discipline is easy. :)

Sorry for the late weigh in. Rough tour last night.

 

Back from gym for weigh in.

 

248lbs. Back up to 1 1/2 miles in 15 minutes. shooting for 14:30 next week.

OK - I'm gonna run 3 miles today. Then 6 hours later follow it up with some squats. I ate birthday cake last night... that should about cover it!

 

ETA: a mix of techno, adrenaline 80s, a couple of odd opera crossovers thrown in...

Can I join in? I'm trying to GAIN weight and find it very difficult. I already eat stupid amounts, doesn't help. I need to start working out properly :(

I'm not doing too well. Gym was closed every time I went. The machine weight room was open, but i prefer free weights.

I've managed to only get 3 days of cardio in and 3 days of strength training.

Tonight i'm going to jog on my treadmill and do some pilates. Feeling pretty good.

Since I'm such an honest creature (heh... ) I just ate, again. Oh and had a few sips of coke. It's 10:48pm. Bad Idea. I will go to the gym tomorrow. I'm working on my personal essay. Have to apply no later than next week to uni. After my long journey in community college. MMM, I'm craving some chocolate cake with some soy milk. GYM GYM GYM! Tomorrow morning. Don't judge me!

This thread is fun :). Initially I thought it's about people sharing stories about which ex was worse :D

My problem is that I'm trying to gain weight, and the "breakup" didn't help me much. A couple of days ago I was happy I'm having appetite, I was feeling healthy... and now it's gone.

Anyway... I'm 21 yr old (female)... 5'1 and 103 lbs ;)

Thank you I was unsure if it would offend people. People sometimes get annoyed when I tell them I can't gain weight, especially if they work very hard not to get overweight or are trying to lose weight themselves, they can't understand how bad I sometimes feel about being skinny :(

 

As a man it's very disheartening being so skinny, girls will often glance over me because i'm not muscular and I'm thinner than they are. I'm more skinny than most girls and a lot don't seem to like it. Eating doesn't work, I've started working out, will update if that works at all :)

Still at 154lbs - but I must admit I have been very bad all weekend and had the munchies...

From tomorrow though I am going on a diet...

I am sad that i'm late to the party :(

 

I've been trying very hard to gain weight. But... to no avail. I'd really like to join in, even though it's late, if that's alright? I promise I will do my best to work out and gain some weight back!! Here are my stats:

 

Female

23 years old

5'4

103lbs (weighed myself today)

 

The most i've ever been was 140, so I know i'm capable of gaining the weight.

128. whoop! lost 1 lb

 

I had thai late last night after the bar. BUT, I had only one drink and tons of water. I went out for a friends bday plus I had a really cute outfit to wear, so I pretty much watched all the drunkies, made me giggle. Oh and I talked about food the whole time. hahaha. We had some thai soup and some spicy chicken holy basil. MMM! Today I ate a yummy cranberry salad. I was doing so good till about 15 minutes ago. I got some tortilla chips and melted some cheese on them. bwahaha! It was good though. Don't judge me, I've been studying all day ( oh and bought some cute heels online). Toodles.

 

Oh yeah yesterday I went to the gym, wooo-hooo! I have not been in a minute. I've been doing little work outs on my yoga mat since I'm at work and school all day m-th.

Sorry for the late weigh in. It hasn't been a good week for me food wise, too many temptations at the moment but I have been running again this week:) so am down 3 pounds this week to 127.

A little update. after break up I was really dedicated to my workout regime, but then I slowed down a bit. I skipped workout for about a month, started eating a lot and ate a lot of junk food. Yesterday I went to the gym and now my muscles are sore... but, I didn't gain any weight! It's probably the change in my lifestyle and the way I eat. with my ex I used to eat once or twice a day but enormous portions, now I snack during the day and I guess it keeps my metabolism active. I'll try to work out regularly in the future and lose another 10 lbs or so, build some muscle and lose what's left of my gut.

 

Losing weight made me look so much younger and I intend to keep it that way. My face was round before and that made me look older. Now I look almost the same as I looked 6 years ago!

I've been working my butt off to get back to my ideal weight while keeping my lean muscle mass. I run as much as I can and do Muay Thai 2-4 times a week. Only about 10 more pounds to go. I can see the six pack coming through!
