Doesn't it make you furious when women get pregnant with OM's child?

Recommended Posts

Yup. Can anyone say "Mary Kay Letourneau?"

I agree that there's something rotten about the whole situation. I can't recall the state in which this was alleged to have taken place, but a lot would depend on the statute of limitations, and whether the legal system would even take molestation charges by a 25 year old man seriously. There's plenty of evidence that they don't take rape charges seriously that have been made by women who have just as much evidence, that's a LOT more recent than a thirteen year old kid. Hence they may just blow him off as some jerk trying to duck his child support.

The fact is that the family courts only care about one thing, supporting the child. To the family courts and the CPS the circumstances surrounding the child's conception are of no consequence at all. They just want a male whom they can hang the kid on to show them the money. Copious amounts of it and ASAP.

It disgusts me just like a lot of other shenanigans do. DNA testing at birth should be mandatory as a matter of public health in this day and age.

Its already available to anyone who seeks it.

It would be like making it mandatory to get your oil changed every 3000 miles by a licensed mechanic.

Only if your oil is a sentient being who can have potential health issues that would be known if the lying bitch wasn't concealing it's true genetic heritage, AND the service call would reveal that deception; in that case it would be just the same, yep.

Then, there is a presumption of paternity that happens when a man signs a birth certificate. That's a legal fact and it's dirty to allow it to happen. One in six guys are saddled with a child that's not theirs and can very well have issues they are unaware of due to the duplicity of their supposed partner. Actually more than that, one in six KIDS, a lot of guys have more than one kid, or at least, think they have.

So I'm a misandrist?

Currently yes and for more reasons than just your opinion in this thread. The reasons why you think this way are very unfortunate and I sympathize with you. We have very similar childhood experiences.

But I remembered you saying how you don't care how men act because you don't date them.

So when I read your want for testing to be mandatory and realized you only feel that way because you are male. It made me wonder why I should care about women deceiving men on paternity when no one can trick me into thinking a kid is mine when its not.

I care about it and think its wrong despite the fact that it cannot happen to me.

Get it Woggle?

You too can care about the bad behavior of men simply because it is bad behavior even though you don't date men. Just like I can care about the bad behavior of women even though I don't date them.

Just more of me trying to get through to you........

In this bill that would affect everyone whether they want the test or not also include a ban on cigarettes, alcohol, not going to the dentists every 6 months or a yearly check up with your doctor?

Seriously, if you have reason to doubt, seek out a test. It is available already.

We do not need more rules telling us how to live our lives. If it became mandatory, everyone would just have one more thing added to the medical bill bottom line or taken out of everyone in tax cuz you know damn well it wouldn't get paid for any other way. Since I'm not having anymore children, I don't want another law being monetarily covered with my tax dollars just so guys can utilize less discrimination in whom they put their penis in. And since there are tons of biological fathers NOT paying for kids the courts already proved were theirs, and my tax dollars already go to help support them - well pardon me if mandatory testing just sounds pointless in the bigger picture. If a man doesn't want to be responsible for a kid, theirs or not, they just won't pay.

I'd rather more of my tax dollars go to feeding kids I'm certain are not mine than going to this proposed law when it is for something that is already available to anyone carrying doubts about paternity of a kid in their life.

OK, so you make a good point. How about instead of mandatory we say, make it part of the standard battery of tests. Opt out rather than opt in. There are few things more unfair in modern civilized life than the current state of 'reproductive rights'. This is just one aspect of that.

Sorry Wogs! I just realized you asked if I think you're a misandrist. I read it as you asking if I thought you were a misogynist -which you are; lets not pretend otherwise. ;)

You don't HAVE to be though.

What I advocate is something my uncle did to protect himself when he was 27, childless and wanting to stay that way.

Bank your swimmers and get the path snipped. Its an out patient deal. And before you get all squeamish - look at what its like for a woman to get an IUD put in. Then look at how much worse it is to go through an abortion. Then look at the peace of mind it would give you to never have to worry about getting duped about being a father or even accidentally being a father before you wanted to.

You and your GF are laying there and she tells you "I'm pregnant and its yours."

You'd be able to jump up and call her a lying, cheating bitch all you like because you'd already know it couldn't be yours. ;)

I already did all that. I'm not worried about myself, it's those other blokes.

First of a iud is usally only for women that have already had a kid. Secondly I still say its not to late for the death penalty. lol If women knew that would happen I think they'd be alot less careless and the ones that sleep with anything at a drop of a dime. They might settle down

You are right but this is different. I have friends who are players and while I don't condone it they mostly play other players and women who are cheaters. It is wrong but the other party is far from innocent. I told my friend what I really thought when he wanted to play a nice girl and he quickly stopped seeing her. On the other hand I would never be friends with a woman beater or a rapist.

I can understand that idea but if my wife I ever had a kid I would like to know that he or she came to be from good old fashion lovin. If the male pill works it will erase a lot of these problems.

Doesn't it make you furious when women say they are pregnant with an OM child...and they sound like they want their husband to raise it as his own and worse want their husbands parents to treat it as their own grandchild??

I mean do you find it fair??

They sleep like b***** with OM and get pregnant...and once they pregnant they act like saints ..or mother theresa...just because they are gonna be a mom soon....

I think being a mother is a very beautiful and precious thing.... but giving birth to a bastard child ... is not??? that is terrible......

Isnt it disgusting????? or am I over reacting??

PS. same applies to men who cheat on their wives, impregnating OW.... lol

Actually I think a 'bastard' child may be a big hit with some mums.

Yes you might be over reacting.

It makes me furious, all right. For the child.

Speaking as a child born into a similar mess, OW getting pregnant by MM, its the child that suffers.

I remember meeting some relatives of my grandfather's once. In a general conversation we were having, as we were strangers, they mention my grandfather's name. I say, "that's my grandfather". They say they know the whole family and while I certainly favor them, they've never heard of me or my side of the family. I have to tell them I'm his "girlfriend's" grandchild.

They look....stunned, after they figured out what I meant by girlfriend. I was embarrassed and I hadn't done anything wrong. Imagine that, having to apologize just for existing to some people.

It sucks for the children born into these situations. It creates really awkward situations for the innocent children who did not deserve to be born into such drama. And I wasn't even directly born into the situation.

I completely agree. But the OWs who post about being pregnant by a MM are too selfish to look at the bigger picture and realize what they're about to put their kid through for the rest of it's life. There's no way on God's green earth I'd have a MM's baby and subject my child to a lifetime of being shunned by his father, ridiculed by everyone because of his real paternity, and put myself in a situation where I have to continually LIE to him about why his father wants nothing to do with him.

We all know 99.9% of the married men who get their OW pregnant want NOTHING to do with the kid - either physically, emotionally, or financially. Only a FOOL would think otherwise.

The OW's I've seen who proceed with the birth of their babies, do so out of love - and caring for their child.

I agree. A baby is a blessing of God. It is the ignorance of adults that will make this Precious life to seem otherwise..

None of which changes the hard cold facts of what that child's life will be like as a result of his/her mother's choices.

Rose-tinted glasses much?
