What can I do about this situation?

Long story short my best guy friend and I hooked up. Now for the past several months we have gotten closer and he has tried to kiss me a few times, but id turn him down because I knew it was better to be friends and I was dating someone else. But over the past weekend I went with him to his co workers house party, we both got drunk and had to spend the night there. We slept next to eachother and ended up hooking up, we did not have sex but we did almost everything else. I dont know what to do I love him, but I dont want him to think its become a friends with benifets thing. I still hangout with him and we act normal but there was this noticable tension coming from us. I also do not want him to look at me bad, I mean I was drunk and I trust him plus he started touching me. What can I do to take the elephant out of the room? I really do love him and I want more out of our friendship.
