Sonido
Greetings, I'm usually very good in reading people. But i've met this very ''close'' girl recently and i'm having a very hard time knowing what exactly is going on.. She's sort of sending mixed signals, and i'll do my best to explain them. I met her on Facebook, and everything sort of went extremely well.. It wasn't a very open conversation, but enough to break the ''ice'' and get in touch with her more often. Even though she showed me some ''interest'', she still replies very shortly & sometimes not. I'm not too sure if i'm handling my conversations the right way, as i'm used to talking with open girls all the time. Another problem could be that i'm way to talkative, but i've read that when you're dealing with a ''close'' girl that likes you, the conversation will usually be around 95% / 5% talking (You doing the 95%) and then slowly shifting towards 90%/10% etc... So these are the examples where i've noticed that she might like me. A) My interest in her started off when i gave her a compliment on a picture of hers, and besides the 30 other guys complimenting her, i was the only one receiving a reply. B) After our first talk, i wanted to give her my email in order too maintain contact.. Instead of me giving her my email, she gave me hers. C) She often starts the conversation first. D) When i flirt with her, she always joins in & replies with great answers. Here is an example of me flirting with her. ME: Ok lene (Her), I've just saw something, and i'll ask you a question about it. HER: Yeh sure? ME: I will not give you the answer, thats for you to find out.. What is beautiful, is really sweet, and has a very cute smile? HER: I dont know? x. ME: Ah too bad, i'll give you some time for you too answer. HER: Ah cmon! Just tell me! x ME: Alright, i'll give you a hint, It starts with an L! HER: Me? (a) x (Didn't expect this answer though). ME: Good guess! But what i forgot to mention is that there's a price included if you would've guessed.. HER: Oh? and what would that be? x ME: That's for you to discover! HER: Ah cmon! tell me. ME: I'll let you know soon! We'll see if you will enjoy it or not! (quite a retarded answer from my side i think >.>). HER: No responds (Cry). This was one of the flirty things we've been saying too eachother. As you can see, she doesn't neccesarily reply with a wall of text, usually with a word or 5. But you can tell that she's enjoying it. Even though she does participate, i've noticed that the other usual talks are very short. We can easily start a conversation that lasts for some time, but then after getting a few ''Haha - Yeh! - Okay'' answers i wonder why she cant just simply reply with a better answer to keep the convo running. I could very easily keep the conversation up, but i do not want to act like a needy guy that keeps asking the questions, or sending her huge texts. My questions are: * If she replies very short, and i do not want to pressure her, what else can i do? should i tell her that she's being quiet and i'm having a hard time talking to her? * How can i tell that my subject fits at that moment? * Should i chill down on the talk, and be a bit more.. Short? oO * What can you tell by the combination of what i've mentioned? Do you think she likes me, or am i being to naive again?
Fmrbrknhrt22
It sounds like you're overthinking this way too much. How long have you been talking to this girl? I myself am a straight shooter. The first couple weeks when I am getting to know a girl, ya the whole flirting part is great and it's good to build up interest. But after that, I want to cut the bullcrap and ask them straight up if they would be interested in going out or not. No, not I really like you and all that, but just, "hey we should go out some time." If they say no and that they are busy, I would try once more a little while later, but if they pull out the "busy card" again in my experience, that means time to move on to the next girl unless they by some chance they end up changing their mind right away and decide they want to. Life's too short man. It sounds like she does have some interest in you, but is waiting for you to really be the initiator with taking things to the next step. I'd give it a shot and see what happens. You can't let this broad pull you on a leash for too long.
Author Sonido
Thanks for the answer. Greatly appreciated. I think you are completely right on all the things you say, Suppose it aint worth thinking about it to much & just go with the flow, see how it goes and continue from there on . Thanks alot! Author Sonido
Will do mate! I've decided to do things differently, I've recently found out she's going to be in the group as me of a certain festival that's coming up soon, so i'm gonna take my odds there. People here in Belgium are very isolated when it comes to ''Getting to know eachother'' on msn, they've always prefered seeing you before going out. I'll just talk to her once every 2-3 days too keep her mind refreshed and wait till i get too see her, normally from there on, i'll get to know more & more about her and i'll probably notice if she's interested in me or not .
