windows
Hey, I'm just another one of those 18 year old saps who has never had a girlfriend. I know quite a few people will say it's normal or something similar, and I guess I know a lot of the theory behind love so I realise it's silly to feel desperate. I've just finished High School and heading off to University next year I'm thinking of finding someone but I'm not sure where to begin. The only essential things I'm looking for has been cut down to having someone of he same religion (that is Christian) and mutual attraction. I've never experienced mutual attraction in my life so can anyone tell me how it happens, and how you meet more people? There is no one I know that I feel any attraction for right now (the only girl rejected me the other day and now I'm moving on).
JohnnyBlaze
I've just finished High School and heading off to University... There's your answer, right there - you're heading off to university. When you get to uni, get involved. Go to the freshman parties and any social activities that you have any remote interest in. Not only will you get to meet a lot of women that way, but with the variety, you'll get the rep as the guy who likes to get out there, have fun and enjoy life; that'll work in your favour. As you meet more women, you'll get to find out more about them, at which point you can start narrowing the field down. Don't get too hard on yourself about lack of history. Most guys didn't get nearly as far in high school as they claimed, plus university, for some weird reason, is a whole different world. Everything that you did (or didn't do) in high school becomes worthless - life hits the reset button. When you walk into that school, you're starting at the same point that everyone else is. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise!
