Nim Posted March 28, 2004 Share Posted March 28, 2004 Okay, for starters, you're human. People always act differently in groups or in front of people than they do in reality, even I do that. Don't think anyone knows why, it just happens. So, you're a "quiet, boring" type. If we were all outgoing and crazy-go-nuts all the time, life would suck. Why do you think you're boring, though? Ever think about how all those girls you mentioned are, in reality? This is why a lot of marriages don't work, people don't really know the real them until it comes out later. Far as being fed up with girls, probably because you're in a female-induced whirl-wind and are just sick of it. Or maybe because a lot of girls are horribly superficial. Well, this is what my life looks like. I get up, usually too late, barely have the time to eat, go to school. Sit there from 8 to 4 listening to these boring lessons. Sometimes some fun with my class mates. Aye, 16.15 I get home. Turn on my pc and turn up my music. go online. chat a bit, then i eat. Some more pc, or tv, and i go to sleep. Same thing the next day. In weekends I usually get up somewhere in the noon because I went out the day before.. So my waking up takes a long time, like I get up at 13.00, then I'm a zombie for a couple of hours, sit a little behind pc, get ready to go out that night, go out, have loads of fun, get home somewhere in the middle of the night... and again same story It's like this week after week. I often wonder what "normal" (?) people do after school. Yes, some people do football or powertraining 2 or 3 times in a week, but for the rest? My 2 best mates wonder about the same thing. I often have nothing interesting to tell, nothing interesting happened, etc. Starting friday we have a 2 week vacation. I don't want this to be another vacation where i sit behind my pc most of the day and go out in weekends. Sometimes some mates visit me in the vacation in the evening , but nothing spectacular happens then either. Actually we usually just sit behind the PC or something. I often hear these really cool stories of a mate in my class.. but most of the time this is because he's on drugs, and therefor alot of cool things happen to him. About the being fed up with girls -> too many bad luck lately, girls I like don't like me, girls I don't like like me Don't care really atm, just don't feel like "girl-hunt" for the time being. Heck, I'm in college and I still don't do much, occasionally play ultimate frisbee with the guys after classes, but mostly just sitting in front of the computer wondering what to do. Life in general is monotonious. The average person's life is dull, it's just a matter of finding something to do. I drove 80 miles round trip for no apparant reason yesterday. Just because it was something to do. I'd suspect that a lot of your other mates have similar lives, you just don't hear about it. No one talks about how boring their day was, they only talk when there's something exciting. And I hear you on the girl-hunt thing, pursuit of relationships can get horribly boring and frustrating.
