fooled once
Anyone deal with this? I have had almost 10 surgeries on my right elbow - started as tendonitis (tennis elbow - literally from playing tennis for exercise for about a month) and ended with a crushed nerve. Now it seems like I have more nerve issues - possibly a crushed nerve in my neck? Having an MRI next week - but from what I have read, most people with crushed/pinched nerves in the neck have shoulder pain. I don't have that. I have been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. Anyone have issues with pain in the feet due to neuropathy?
Leandro
I don't know anything about neuropathy, but I do have a pinched nerve in my back. Doctors said one of my disks is gone, so my back is curving to relieve the stress of the nerve. The curve isn't helping much. I've had it for 5 years. My right side is numb most of the time, so it sucks when i get an itch. If I start to feel pain, it means I'm doing sometime back to cause so much pain to it.
Feelin Frisky
I have been suffering all my adult life with a neurological malady that I could never get a good diagnosis on. I'm happy to report a breakthrough just this week. I've been through so much--physical therapy for years, moist heat packs, drugs at various times just to get some comfort. Turns out I have a neuroma in my left foot. A doctor gave me a shot of cortisone there last week and I feel better in so many places where i had experienced disquieting nerve sensations that I describe as annoying and discomforting rather than "painful". I felt these things in my back and all the way into my neck. Turns out they are related to a nerve getting squished and pinched in my foot. I'll be seeing a surgeon soon and maybe this nightmare that has plagued me for decades might finally be coming to an end. I'm still just realizing now how much difference this shot of cortisone in that one joint in my foot has made so much of a positive difference. I think the condition is called Morton's Neuroma.
