what2do
i am 17 and he is 24 and we meet right after he graduated from the police academy. I will be 18 in 3 months and he told me that he really has feelings for me but he wants to wait till I turn 18. we have a ton in common too we are both catholic and want the same things in life. I am done with High school and enrolling into the police academy in fall. But it bothers me that he wants to wait 3 months to be anything when we have so much in common. what should I do, and how should I approach things?
Tony T
Wait three months! There are a lot of things that could happen between the two of you in a relationship that could get him kicked off the police department and possibly put in jail if you aren't at least 18 years old. Three months will go very quickly. He's using excellent judgement in making sure the people he dates are at least 18 years old. You'll find out the reasons when YOU go through the academy. meganater
im starting to think the same thing we are going to take things easy and not hang out that much because it is too tempting. So I think things should work out better now we are only going to talk on the phone. So we will see what happens.
