Woggle
I honestly hope most men don't end up that broken because that level of loathing makes me not want to even walk down the street with my kids. Once you dehumanize others, you are capable of doing great harm. I used to be that bad and I am glad I am not that hateful anymore but I understand where it comes from. Marriage and commitment with a woman often is a huge gamble and risk for men. Just look at the divorce forums.

Yes - exactly how "all men think with their dicks" and are part of the "patriarchy" - women have been dehumanizing men for five decades. They declared men the enemy decades ago and now women are upset when we take them at their word and likewise consider them our enemy.
theBrokenMuse
If you noticed I didnt disagree with your previous post. What I am telling you is this. In the initial stages of a date (before anything you mentioned above) you tell him what I suggested. Look.. It's a flawed analogy for the reason that I mentioned that you seemed to have skipped... it is a component of a romantic relationship. Guys looking for sex, want sex and guys looking for a romantic relationship are looking for a romantic relationship with all the parts that make up a romantic relationship. It's an important aspect of a close intimate relationship, sure but it's not the only one that's of importance to males or females that desire an actual relationship. As far as your personal accusations towards me, you know nothing of me. You once told me you didn't want love or companionship from a woman. Not in those exact words but you have said more than once that all men want from a woman is sex. Therefore even if you hadn't said it, you are admitting that you do not value or desire such things. I don't dehumanize anyone as I think humanity itself is already sub par.

My words were and have always been; I am not looking for a relationship, or even marriage at this juncture in my life. Though you felt the desire to draw your own conclusions. *golf clap* you have said more than once that all men want from a woman is sex. Once again taken out of context. I dont ever recall saying "all men want from a women is sex". I challenge you to find those exact words written by me. If you do, I will provide you with an open apology. Although I will indulge you in that regard. Many men do want sex from women. Wow, we just cracked that mystery wide open didnt we? Therefore even if you hadn't said it, you are admitting that you do not value or desire such things. Again, you know nothing of what I value and what I do not. You are welcome to create your own theories. I just ask that you dont take things out of context in regards to what I say. Address exactly what I said, or dont bother addressing anything towards me at all. Fair enough?
frizzo
Good lord. You guys think I am bitter but this guy takes the cake. I am simply what happens when a straight male is born to a 1970s era man-hating feminist. I am the inescapable product of time and circumstance. I was never warned about the true nature of modern women or society by the men in my life who should have been looking out for me, and I like so many others of my generation have been through the anti-male family court system where I lost everything including my sons. I am not bitter - I am merely awake.

sweetjasmine
According to Rizzo they already have, those frigid beyatches! Quite frankly, I don't see what the problem is. If women don't have sex with anyone, you can't have anymore single mothers. I would hope that a man would understand if I told him that I don't have sex with fertile men because single mothers are scum, and I absolutely refuse to ever become one. Aren't you being just as bad as the misogynists you are against? Hey, Woggle, why don't you sh-t on the people saying crappy things about men instead of insisting on taking my post seriously even though it was obviously a joke? Or do you agree that men view women only as life support systems for a vagina? Is the only thing you value in your wife her ability to give you sex? Are you okay with being reduced to a penis that coincidentally happens to have some sort of brain attached to it?

theBrokenMuse
You are right, it was not in those words. Not even close. My words were and have always been; I am not looking for a relationship, or even marriage at this juncture in my life. Though you felt the desire to draw your own conclusions. *golf clap* There we go: Yes, I have expereinced relationships in the past, many of them very loving and intimate. Until I woke up and realized it wasnt necessary. This will probably be taken he wrong way, but the only reason you see it as bleak is because you are female. We are two different species and I will not be ashamed of being a man. There is no gain for me to be in a relationship or even marriage. What could you possibly benefit from a relationship or marriage, that you could not benefit from being single. My answer, nothing. You as a female, what can you offer me I dont already have? That really sounds like you totally value emotional intimacy, love and relationships, doesn't it? Yeah, I went totally silly nilly with what I said. I'm like a one woman tabloid. A romantic relationship also involves sex. DO you not understand what the word componant means? I dont ever recall saying "all men want from a women is sex". I challenge you to find those exact words written by me. If you do, I will provide you with an open apology. WTF do you think you are insuating by doing the whole "Next time you meet a guy you are interested in. You tell him you will never have sex with him." and then REPEAT the sex part AFTER I alreadt conceded it is a componant of a romantic relationship if you were not trying to make that point? I just ask that you dont take things out of context in regards to what I say.Would be much easier if you weren't always trying to wriggle out of what you mean by the things you say. You do mental gymnastics of gold medal quality. Address exactly what I said, or dont bother addressing anything towards me at all. sweetjasmine
I don't like what these guys say but it hurts less coming from my brothers. Why the double standard? If a woman started a thread and said that all men view women as just vaginas who can only provide sex, it would push every single one of your buttons, and you'd go on a rant about misandry. So why is it okay for a man to trash men?
Woggle
It is different when men are speaking about our own. If a woman was saying these things about the female gender would you be as angry?

I agree in theory but I get angry when I see certain things. I wish gender didn't matter so much. I really do. For the record I do not agree with these men but men just like women develop a hard shell after being hurt so many times and it is very hard to take it down once it is there.
