Unless the planet gets hit by a huge meteorite before we "colonize" Mars , I believe we will go on for a very long time. In some decades, after escaping the planet that we did manage to totally screw up, we will find ways to live in giant space stations. Only the nucliar roaches and the mutant humans might be left behind. [/color] One of the good sides of Christianity (the predominant religion) I see, is a set of values, precepts, models. But in reality, their Leaders and Preachers, for the most part fail miserably to combat vigorously those 3 evils I mentioned above. Or maybe their followers are just deaf. SUV's, the bigger house, the latest in electronic and mechanical adult toys (not referring to sex ones ! ), the all-you-can eat, the Humvees on the streets of America... We have plenty of church-goers in the country that is the dream of so many overseas... But here, few prophets in the pulpits who say: get rid of that SUV, live in a smaller dwelling, spend less on clothes. Or, perhaps most in their audiences are really deaf... They just feel happy to go to Church on Sundays, and to feel that their Saviour is with them, at all times,.... including while they drive their Earth-destroying SUVs... to the malls. Which are [color=blue] the TRUE TEMPLES of our Faith, [/color][color=green]Long Live the DOLLAR GOD !![/color] [color=red]Hey, we are caught in a System. For if we did change our ways, perhaps no political party could ever obtain an Economic Recovery. So, Christ or no Christ, we better be Faithful Consumers, or our System will collapse !!!!
