Thus, I tend to exercise less when I have stuff to do later, because I don't want to end up lazing around and not doing it. Is this normal? :/ Everyone has a different clock and a different physical reaction to exercise. You'll have to figure out when the best time is for you to work out, but physiologically and practically. Some work out best in the morning, some in the afternoon, and some in the evening. Eh, perhaps. Obviously she wouldn't be needing the 100 lb dumbbells anytime soon, but she's not going to get by with just a set of 5 lb dumbbells...but you're right, and as you said in your earlier post, she'd need at least a few pairs up to maybe 15 or 20 lbs... You shouldn't ever be. You just do more and faster. Truth. I should rephrase. Weight training becomes more efficient than calisthenics. Link to post Share on other sites
GrayClouds Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 If are looking into dumbbells I would suggest PowerBlocks. They are a bit pricey but are adjustable and allows progressive gains.
