Gold Pile
Not here, but everywhere else.... The need for Moderators is growing by leaps and bounds. The need out-paces the supply and a good mod can name his/her price. Maybe most Mods like their plush offices but I relish the concept of doing my Mod work from home in my underwear. What a way to earn a great living. They seem to get all the dates they need too. This is more than a career move, it's about gaining status in society. I called the local community college and asked for a course in "Conversational Law Enforcement". They don't have it. I've decided to take conventional "Law Enforcement". The book work seems easy enough but I'm concerned about the physical tests. Oh well, that's what it takes to be a Mod. I understand that most Moderators tend to be from Harvard or Yale backgrounds, so I won't be able to command the same respect or money, but I'll get my slice of the pie. I'm taking 2 political science courses...."modern political communiction" with special attention to the section on "Suppression of free speech in the Internet age" and "Eliminating unauthorized views in modern China". In 2 years I'll have my AS in Law Enforcement and misc courses under my belt, then I can hop on the Mod bandwagon.
