fredrolin
I am 40 years old. I stopped getting zits on my face when I was in my early 30's. I still get a few on my body, but rarely.
UCFKevin
My dad's in his fifties and still gets them occassionally. Zits aren't a teen thing, they're a life thing, they just tend to go away for a while if you take care of your skin.

Any time you have hormones either on the rise or going down you can expect something like this. My diet is usually spot on as well, but that doesn't seem to have any effect at all. Accutane? I wouldn't do it, but I know a few people that have gone that route.
yes
this is not for all kinds of zits, but sweating is great for your skin... i notice that as soon as it's hot and i sweat and am in the sun a lot, my skin clears up wonderfully. similarly, it was clearer when i worked out regularly. just be careful to rinse it more often. oh, and drinking lots helps, too! -yes
UCFKevin
Yes! Lots of water. I use Neutrogena foam face wash and then put on some Walmart brand Oxy acne cleanup stuff. Works wonders.
InmannRoshi
Bad genetics. I haven't gotten a zit since I was a teenagers, and I don't do any thing but shower once a day with soap and water. But there are other things in the genetic department that I'd probably love to trade with you.

Sarah12385
well i'm 19 and i've had zits since i was about 12....and i'll tell you what, i've been on every medication out there probably, but there's one that *did* help me. it's called Doxycycline ( i think that's how u spell it) and yes, sweating is rather healthy for your skin because it opens your pore up, along with the sun, but if you get too *much* sun, it can make the zits double lol believe me, i've been to the dermo many 'a times try the doxycycline, it worked for me! and my face is very stubborn and sensitive. reasontosigh
Jumping on the hormones bandwagon here. When I was 25 I was pretty much the same way. It's 19 years after that, and I do still get one or two, but only just before my period. Might not hurt to see a dermatologist, but I think drinking lots of water and good skin care will certainly be the best way to go. Try products formulated for sensitive skin so irritation will be one less thing for you to worry about. (I've heard sex works wonders for the skin too! At least if you're glowing from that, it's likely no one will even notice anything else! )
