ArchTheBoss
So I finally signed up for eharmony.com after hearing it being recommended by two friends (guys also) that used it. I was initially skeptical because 1. I'm not religious, 2. Not looking for a marriage just yet 3. I do like to drink and party from time to time. I live in San Fran though, so I figured there'd be similar non-conservative young professionals like me on the site, as my friends told me. Anyways, here is my profile pasted: The one thing I am most passionate about: The great, beautiful, outdoors. Leading an active lifestyle and whatever gets me outside: A raging bonfire at the beach, snowboarding in fresh powder, mountain biking, hiking with the redwoods, playing kickball, a scenic road trip down highway 1, or just chilling and BBQ'ing with friends in a park. Love sunny days in the city, and rainy days because it means snow in the mountains. The most important thing I am looking for in a person is: Someone that can juggle and backflip. Also, independence and motivation/goals in life are important. It's attractive and admirable when someone knows what they want, and has the drive to work their butt off towards it. My ambition is to be able to juggle. If you have the patience to teach me how, I'll marry you on the spot. Basic Information Occupation: Engineer Age 24 Height 5' 7" Wants Kids: Yes Kids at Home: No Ethnicity Indian Religion: Neither religious nor spiritual Drinks: About once a week Smokes: Never In my own words The most influential person in my life has been: My old best friend Alex from college, a roommate sophmore and senior year. We shared many college memories together, from late night studying in the lab, to tailgating, to being active in clubs. He introduced me to a wide variety of new music and bands, and taught me how to play the guitar and rock out with him. He was a smart physics nerd at heart who did his best to not look the part The three things which I am most thankful for: My parents, for being so kind and loving, always supporting me, and being good role models. My best friends. For being so damn fun to hang out with, and teaching me so many real-life skills, introducing me to new experiences and hobbies.Being a college graduate, having an awesome job in my career, and for once feeling a little settled in life. Three of my best life-skills are: Keeping physically fitMaintaining a network of close friendsFinding new adventures and unique experiences The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me: That I can actually cook tasty meals beyond throwing a steak on the grill. The things I can't live without are: Long weekendsAngry Birds and SudokuSnuggiesDark chocolateThe snooze button The first thing people notice about me: I'm a curious cat. I spend hours on end geeking out to new hobbies. I'll pull out my phone to research something on Wikipedia on the fly. Sometimes even mid-convo, apologies beforehand... Some additional information I want you to know: They say I have mad karaoke skills - I sing a rockin' "Give It Away Now". I'm also an avid homebrewer and foodie. I can brew my own wicked tasty IPA, stout, or Belgian beer. My interests I typically spend my leisure time: Exploring the city and all its music festivals, street fairs, and events. Biking around town. I enjoy doing Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting at the gym. By night, exploring new nightlife, happy hours and trivia nights, dining out, going to comedy clubs, and catching up with friends. Looking forward to traveling more; Argentina and Brazil, next up! The last book I read and enjoyed: The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins. It really opens your eyes to a new perspective on human and animal culture, evolutionary biology, and genetics - that the unit of selection is an individual gene, and not a whole species. Intelligent, well written, and a strong supporter of evolution. According to my friends: My friends describe me as: EnergeticPassionateIntelligentSpontaneous
