makelemonade1974
I Love the Way you Lie - Rihanna's version: Part II I'd catch a granade for you - don't know who sings it - very pop stuff Impossible - again, no idea who sings it Ray Lamontagne "Empty" and "Jolene" The last is more my taste, but my 13 yr old daughter makes me listen to pop in the car because she's really into it. roman_pavluchenko
both songs by A Day to Remember ; Better off this way - makes you think hey, it wasnt exactly my fault, and im better off like this, you werent the reason things went wrong, it was them who needed to change! If i Leave - at the beginning of the song it describes how everything was fine, that no matter what happened you two stayed strong, but then things started to go wrong and they left you, but when you move on they'll realise the mistake they've made and miss you. Tofu
I try to avoid breakup songs that remind me of my ex cos it usually just gets me thinking bout her and then slowly drift into depression. Instead ive been listening to alot of Bob Marley especially 'Three Little Birds', his songs are inspirational in keeping me on a positive outlook on life for so long until my ex came along. Now im so glad hes still around to lift me up from these hard times
Wings Of Love
I had four songs that helped me through my break up. The first one was Better in Time by Leona Lewis. Beautiful song, I lived by it at one point. The second was Hey by Mitchell Musso. Not sure why, something about the lyrics was helpful, same with the third, It's Alright, It's OK by Ashley Tisdale. And the last was Gravity by Pixie Lott. Everything about those lyrics related to how my ex was always pulling me back. Listening to the song helped me realise that I had to cut him off so he couldn't keep reeling me back in. These songs might not be for everyone, but they certainly helped me.
