Anybody have this weird little bumps running along your veins?

About a year ago I discovered that these little bumps (that seem to be inside my veins) were starting to appear on my arms, from my wrist to my elbow. One by one. If the blood is rushing through my arm, its very obvious, but when my arm is extended you can't see them at all. I went to a vascular doctor (and of course, it was cold in the office so my crazy veins werent very bumpy) and he just said Im healthy and vascular. Even with that, they still drive me crazy. It can't be phlebitis because it would have gone away by now and I don't work out excessively. No blood clot because I would have redness, pain, or streaking. They are just bumpy veins. The vascular doc said it is my valves and they are noticeable because my arms have no fat on them. I just can't think of what could possibly make them so obvious all of a sudden! I have always been small and never had the problem before. He also said there is no way its vericose veins.

 

So has anyone experienced this? Again, I am a healthy, 27 year old, I moderately exercise, and am not overweight...
