Jannah
What I mean by an internet relationship is someone who: - You converse with via MSN messenger, skype, telephone, and email - Someone who you basically spill everything to, and form a bond/connection with - Someone who loved you, and you loved in return Can these be considered relationships, even though there was no kissing, intimacy, or sex involved? Given a "relationship" is an association between two people - it IS a relationship - but it's an internet based relationship. Platonic or otherwise. Internet relationships are not "real life-in the flesh" based in the sense that they aren't tangible. But, that's not to say - you can't go from meeting "online" to meeting in real life and developing a relationship in real life offline, if that is what both individuals want. Some people express themself better via electrons first and then meeting in person and building up to those acts of expressions with each other in person. Others prefer the in-person contact first demonstrating physical touch and affection along with the verbal and the electrons.
