Flowersinherhair
I am looking for any advice about weight loss. I am looking to lose about 90lbs in a year. I am a 24 yr old female. I've had 2 kids and I've just let myself go. I used to be really active but these days I put everyone else before me. I'm done with that, my weight plays a huge role in my depression and anxiety. When I workout I feel unstopable. I need to know of any tips or things I should/shouldn't be doing. as of right now I do mon/wed/friday cycling for 45 mins. Afterwards we do weights for 15 mins. Tues/thurs is pilates. I am eating really healthy. lots of protein very little carbs. I've been doing it for a month now and I've lost 12lbs. Which I think is good since I made it through the holidays without weight gain. I just want to know if its too much to lose that amount in a year? any advice is greatly appreciated. oh also, I'm 5'10 and 246.
Cee
I wish I could give you an easy answer about what works. For me, my eating is emotional so I went into eating disorder treatment to deal with binge eating. Treatment helped somewhat. Pretty much I do exercise and eat as little sugar and flour as possible. Also, I forgive myself for my frequent slip ups. I can't say I'm a massive weight loss success story, but I keep at it. I'm at a normal BMI now, but still need to lose a little more weight. I suggest you check out the weight loss forum: 3 Fat Chicks. Just google it. I don't want to provide the link because I don't want to come across as a spammer. I've been on the site for 3 years and love it. Very friendly and helpful. It's a discussion board focused on healthy eating, weight loss, and exercise. Good luck and I hope you find the support you want.
