Injustice, war, hatred, oppression, discrimination, slavery, misogyny, sexual abuse of children.... all had been present (at least in that part of the world) for at least the preceding 4, 000 years !!! Or if God wanted to wait until things got even worse... (in regards to truly large-scale-misery)... why not during WW II ? Or (as it has been said) why not today,[color=red] and take advantage of CNN to truly Shock and Awe the Whole World at Once into instant and utter Conversion and Redemption ? All of the mericles that were performed by God before His son was sent....all the prophecies. All of those things were in God's perfect plan. The Old Testement is used for historical purposes too...(New Testement is about Christ), geneology, history, wars, etc, were all happening in those times too, and I think it helps us see that there is nothing new under the sun.
