dumb pick-up lines

This is a question for the women. First what is the dumest pick-up line you've ever heard, and second did it work?

"If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?" and no it didn't work. It only served as a catalyst for the drink I had just taken a swallow of to shoot through my nose and soak his shoulder as I doubled over laughing.

Here's a link for some pretty awful lines!

My favorite line (I heard from several different men): "I just want to make you feel good." My response was almost always "Awe, how sweet. In that case I'd feel much better if you would just turn and walk away."

"Hey baby is that a keg of beer in your pants.....'cuz I really wanna tap that ass"

"I wanna treat you like my front door and slam you all night long."

People use pick up lines? Aren't those just for humor?

I just walk up to someone and initiate conversation. If I think the dialog is interesting at all I might say that I find them attractive and might want to talk to them again. I assume that if I walk up to a girl and begin to talk to her she already knows that I find her attractive.

I would rather try to impress someone by showing that I am intelligent and generally well-mannered, as opposed to using pick up lines.

Good for you, Faux.

I will say that I can't pinpoint verbatim any "pick up" lines, and that's not because I haven't gotten any. When I have been approached with some cheesy give-a-way that some guy was just looking to score, I made sure I walked off. So, no, they haven't been successful.

I don't find pick up lines flattering...rather, they are insulting. Any guy worth his while doesn't resort to using them.

i dislike pick-up lines and memorized cheese-ass compliments, but i do appreciate guys who ask smth more original than - soo, what do you do for fun?

the funniest pick-up that happened to me was a guy who tried to speak to me in various languages... he came up to me and began to speak hebrew(i was wearing a jewish symbol) - seeing my eyes grow big, he began to shout smth in spanish(i easily pass for latino) - seeing my surprise double, he finally went for english. it was a hilarious minute!... (didn't work though - after we talked some more, we didn't click at all)

my 2c,

That reminds me: a total stranger on a bus claimed he had fallen in love with me (in about 15 mins!) and refused to let me off until I agreed to marry him - it turns out he was about to be deported as an illegal immigrant :D

I am truly sorry about that. The deportation process was harsh, but I have settled in this new region quite well.

Contribution of pick-up line:

Although I am a man, my current woman of interest used a pick-up line on me. She held up her hand and beckoned with one finger for me to come to her, and I did. She then said, “If I can get you to come with one finger, imagine what I can do with the rest.” She was only joking, to her credit.
