artlover Posted August 11, 2000 Share Posted August 11, 2000 Tony: I thought you might get a kick out of this... Last night I took my friend out to dinner for his birthday. We really had a fabulous time. A much better time than I expected after our talk Monday night. Afterwards on the train home he asked me what I'm doing this weekend. I told him I'm writing during the day on Saturday, I have a rock concert Sat night and then Sunday I'm seeing a friend during the day and then Sunday night dinner with more friends (this is all true, I've had these plans for weeks). He got all forlorn and says "I guess I won't see you until Monday night then" (that's when we have class). Sniff sniff. Then he asks me, "are you going out with anyone I know?" I thought about you. He was a living, breathing stereotype of a man who doesn't know what he has until it's gone at that moment. I just ignored him. Of course he was extremely touchy feely and flirty, etc, etc. Whatever floats his boat! Link to post Share on other sites
