ladies: do you know of any good nail strengthener polish that actually works?

I really need strength in my nails, but the kind i use (sally hansen) never works. ideaS?

I believe Revlon has a line of products called "Nail Builders".

 

I have their "Get Harder Nail Guarder" which seemed to work nicely last time I used it.

 

I don't do my nails too often. Partly beacuse of my line of work, but during hockey playoffs (and now with this March Madness pool I'm in) I do quite a bit of nail biting!

I think the Health Food stores carry some vitamin you can take which promotes nail growth.

 

I have long hard nails which I keep clipped down because of work. I have found keeping them clean, smoothe and freshly polished ....keeps me from picking at them.

i tried prenatal vitamins and that did help. and sally hansen hard as nails i like

I have weak, thin nails. I found the nearest salon with acrylic works best for me!

 

 

I used to have a manicure and wear acrylic on the tops of my nails for years. I had a salon and a tech whom I adored and it was very safe.

 

 

Since I lost my job last year I haven't been able to afford it and I miss my nails! I may check out the revlon product too.

HAHA. I'm older than dirt with my ass falling down the back of my legs....and I haven't seen a perky nipple since the first Bush Administration!!!!

 

The bleached hair and hard nails are only a minor comfort!!!

Yeah, right. Didn't you say you get a lot of exercise going up and down stairs and such, in your job?

 

I remember way, way back, 'we girls' had a little 'test for our chest' to determine how perky we were. The test consisted of placing a pencil under and at the base of the breast. The pencil would fall away from a young, perky person! If the pencil stayed in place it was because the breast was begging to sag just enough to create a pocket and hold the pencil in place. Then we would move to a candle, etc. Hmmm... I could hold up both volumes of the Houston phone book now! (each volume about 4-5 inches thick)!!!!

 

Now, I wonder how many women are going to go stick a pencil under their boobs?

I can hold a whole color pencil set under mine....without the BOX!

 

I DO get a lot of physical work outs at work....but I didn't start there until it was already too late. I'm not kidding. That's why I always say I'm only attractive naked if a guy is DRUNK!
