Am I just losing out to more attractive people? Or are they just too busy or overwhelmed to respond to me. If you're average + attractive female, it's more like thousands. You get overwhelmed. Then you start forgetting who's who. And then you realize you haven't responded to someone you actually liked. I'm not saying you shouldn't consider revisiting your profile, because it can always help. But sometimes, unless you're what teh girl is looking for you just can't help that her email box looks like a war zone and she can't weed through them fast enough.

And then you realize you haven't responded to someone you actually liked. LOL yeah....that's why I send follow-UP emails a few months later if they're still single and on the site. (some advise against it, but now I see the rason why - because Daphne proved it, lol) I get a kick out of women that say in their profile, " Please STOP sending me emails, if I did NOT respond to you, then obviously I wasn't interested!!" or "If I do not respond, then it probably means I wasn't interested". I get turned off by comments like that. Just recently I saw a 50 year old woman, living in a small town, has no kids, never married, doesn't WANT kids...say these things in her profile, and she isn't THAT much to look at either. "Please have 90% of your hair, I have my reasons.....same with height, you must be at least 6 feet tall." Also she said this, and this is the kicker, "Please try to be HANDSOME.....not because your mom told you, but just because you were born that way." NO JOKE. This woman was 50 make these arrogant comments. Oh and she said, "don't ask me to compromise on my selections" At the age of 49, she can stop caring about physical appearances in men, and some men are missing their hair. lol And she wasn't much to write home about either. And she said she didn't want old farts contacting her either, um.....she must've forget her age, LOL. Edited February 24, 2011 by irc333
