Is my ex toying with my emotions?

I'm a bit cofused, and I will go right to the reason why... I was with this guy for 4 months, and he broke it up because he was moving away (an hour and 15 mins. away). Our relationshio was really nice, but he would tell me that he still had feelings for his ex -every now and then-, even though he was INLOVE with ME...huh? -Anyway, the night we broke up, I told him that he needed to tontact her and talk, because he needed to figure things out with her if he ever wanted to have a relationship with anyone....

A month passed and he started calling me. Telling me he missed me, he loved me, that he could not think about being with anyone else, and so on. Then we saw eachother. I went to his new appartment and stayed the weekend with him. We had a great time, it was wonderfull. From then on he would call me every other day. We spent Valentines together, and we selebrated his birthday.

Two weeks ago he stopped calling me. I called him thinking something might be wrong with him -he gets into these "funks" sometimes, and he will not talk about what's bothering him-, he said he was just working too much, was too tired, and so I let him go (to sleep; it was a night time call).

A week has gone by and I haven't heard from him...

Should I call him? I have never asked him about him contacting his ex; should I? I haven't wanted to "bother him" with questions about "us", but I would like some answers, should I ask? I'm sometimes afraid to even call him, because I don't kow waht mood he might be in... Oh, did I mention that he has adult ADHD? Well, he does. I feel like I give and give, and he takes and takes. I'm a wee fed up!

PLEASE, HELP. Specially if you're a guy...

Dude! come on, please

1) he talks to you

2) he doesnt talk to you, doesnt want you

3) talks to you again

4) doesnt talk to you.

See a pattern? Move on, cause you are just a toy to him.
