Getting Married at age 50

Recommended Posts

I have changed my mind about getting married. I do want to get married but not until I turn 50 years old. However I'm still going to tell women on the first date that I'm just looking to date for the rest of my life.

Don't worry Chris. I am sure a woman dating you will not be disappointed that you don't want to get married sooner.

At 50 and never married the option to get married will be almost gone.

The decision will have been made for you.

I don't know much about you but you seem very jaded. Maybe a little bitter even. Can you explain why?

OP, there are a lot of women my age who don't ever wish to marry again and appear quite comfortable dating, having sex, living separately and having independent lives. IIRC, the sex is something you don't particularly want, but I'm sure there are ladies who are fine with that. So, good news. Plenty of options available for you. Try dating older ladies. Since you're not going to get married until you're 50 and apparently don't want children, win-win :)
