moimeme Posted March 27, 2004 Share Posted March 27, 2004 If you want to be safe, maintain anonymity. Don't post your photo as you avatar. Don't post any personal information about yourself. LS doesn't collect enough information about you to be useful to any hacker, but if you post details about yourself, then any issues that arise are yours. The mods remove that stuff pretty fast but sometimes not fast enough for someone to see it. For instance, if you are a teacher and your real name is Nancy, you might want to rethink that username.
