She was telling her story and how she would be walking for NephCure, raising support and awareness for these two specific kidney diseases. Mixed emotions came over me, for our son Tim had passed away in February, 2007 at the age of 26. The continued complications from these diseases eventually took its toll not only on his kidneys, but his lungs, his bones and his emotions as well.
