Author Darkangelism
yeah giving money to a guy is good, but drinking with him no, following him no. I mean it turned out fine, but the risk was big, it was 2am in brooklyn, not exactly the safest place in the world. i learned stuff about myself, i learned about him, and he taught me a great scam to play on people to earn quick $$. Stone
LOL let me us know how if the scam is profitable.......Hey that's an idea for a good experiment how much can a bum make in a day.. Might suprise us.
Author Darkangelism
Probably a lot, i spent a good-$30-40, in a bit a 2 hr period, he got 5 dollars of a "regular customer" of his,the store we went to gave him a free coffee, i bet he makes $300 a day. Here is the scam: Bet somebody a certain amount of money that no matter how smart they are they cant answer two questions. Question 1: who is on the $100 bill, the 50, the 20, 10, 5,1, 2 question 2: name 10 body parts that are 3 letters, excluding tit,bum and ass, internal and external from head to toe, toe is one, name 9 you got 7 mins. meanon
Im starting to make myself sick from the stress of dealing with my actions Sounds like you feel your actions are out of your control on occasions and that it's happened before. I don't want to pry, ignore if I am: what goes through your mind before you do these out of character things? When does the reaction kick in?
Author Darkangelism
Usually before i am frustated about something, lately i have had school issues and girl issues so i was really stressed so i kinda dont think about the consequences while im doing it, i fell guilty after the adrenaline rush is over. Author Darkangelism
I thought of another possible reason. I am meeting someone i met online for the first time in a few weeks, she isnt crazy or anything, i think i might have been subconciously testing myself.

You need to let the stress out DA before it takes over your actions. The night with the homeless guy doesn't bother me but the fact that you did something you now dislike so much does. Do please talk to someone about the things that are bothering you (LS/ friends/PM me anytime). If your on line persona is anything like you are IRL you would never guess that you are stressed. Suppression is bad for the soul . It has a way of getting out when you least expect it. Another idea (could be wrong) is that you have a seriously suppressed adventurous streak and if so you need to let it out in an entirely controlled and responsible way of course rather than letting it clobber you when your back is turned . Arabess
Originally posted by ladyangel some of which have been deleted for whatever reason. But never mind. I'm glad they were deleted DA. You may want to ask to desolve this whole thread since the 'remnant' posts from you which are left over are out of context and make you sound WIERD!
Fedup&givingup
Poor, poor DA....mmm, mmm, mmm. Don't beat yourself up over this homeless guy. It's a lesson learned is all. You now know how it made you feel afterwards...used. You didn't think before you acted, is all. It is OK. You are here today, nothing bad happened, and I admire you finding the POSITIVE out of this event by turning around and using it for a college paper. That's a great idea! Your paper could be along the lines of I may have had my guard up because...but I decided to let it down....and, the situation went as followed..... You don't have to mention that you got drunk with the guy, unless you want to. You can simply say that you two shot the breeze and enjoyed each other's company. Don't worry about it. We've ALL done things we know we shouldn't do, survived them alright, and probably would never do them again...you could revert what happened into that. You might feel better hearing about some things others have done. Cheer up, buck-a-roo! I only gave you my harsh Mommy scolding out of concern.
Author Darkangelism
I didnt even notice that they were delted, but they were made when i was drunk, so that kinda affected my thought process. Yes meanon i am like my online persona IRL, just a bit more shy. Normally i let it out to my best friend, but she has been having problems with her bf, and has been dealing with her own problems. So i didnt want to bother her with my problems. I will PM you or arabess or somebody if i need help in the future. I may not in the end regret my actions, i just need a few days to reflect on it. Author Darkangelism
Thanks you y'all for helping me. I do feel a little better now, a few more things i want to do b4 i am at peace with what i did. A whole lot is that i was engrained by my parents that they didnt do anything bad in college and that i cant. and fedup, the mommy scoldin was good, id much rather hve it from you then from my mother. Fedup&givingup
DA, Like I've said, I think I learned more about LIFE in college than I did academically (coughstilldon'thavemydegreecough). You are out on your own, without parental supervision, and it's OK to get a taste of life. You know that you put your safety at jeopardy, and no need to beat yourself up. Hmmmm....let me think...I've done LOTS of things (turning red now). Story #1- My friend worked at the civic center in our city. She snuck me into a concert (it was MC Hammer with Boyz II Men ROTFL)...so, anyway, I'm in there, and the next thing you know, I'm at the front of the stage. There was this security guard who asked to see my ticket stub, and I thought quick and lost any sense of guilt and said, "I dropped it!" that very well could have been the case. He just looked at me and nodded to proceed. My friend said she just about peed her pants when she looked down from where she was and saw the lead singer of Boyz II Men holding my hand singing to me LOL. This wasn't a dangerous situation, but I could have gotten kicked out of there and in worse trouble, maybe jailed. I think it's funny as hell to this day, what a hoot! Story#2-My friends and I went to some frat party. Naturally, we were getting hit on badly and seduced with alcohol. Some guy gave me a shot of tequila, and I don't remember the rest of the night. I woke up there the next morning-THIS was NOT pretty. I believe 100% that my drink was scooped, and that date rape. THIS is NOT a funny story, and that was very dangerous. I can't beat myself up over it, because it's done, and it was a lesson learned. I've got more, but I've already made myself vulnerable enough LOL. You'll look back on last night and embrace it, whether it was a fond memory or not.
Author Darkangelism
Thanks that made me feel better, know i know i am not the only intelligent one that does stupid things. That date rape story is pretty bad, def a whole lot worse then what happened to me.
Arabess
I've heard stories like that Feds.......they are so sad. I'd go back afterwards and hunt the guy(s) down who I thought were responsible.....trash their car and such. LOL! It's ironic that sailors have such a bad rep.....and I've never encountered one single problem with them.

It's ironic that sailors have such a bad rep.....and I've never encountered one single problem with them. I saw the guy later on that summer, Arabess. I was a hostess at this new restaraunt, and so it was the "hip" place to go to. He had a date with him, and I knew good and well who he was. I approached the couple, and I gave him an ICY look, and I said to him in front of his date, "So, have you put any drugs in any other girls' drinks lately and taken advantage of them?" I looked at the girl, and I said, "Knock yourself out, you're with a winner." He left quickly thereafter.
meanon
Feds: story no. 2 made my heart sink - what a horrible thing to happen . It's a scary world when you're away from home for the first time. DA if stories of irresponsible exploits make you feel better here's a couple of mine: 1) TWICE getting into stranger's cars on the mistaken understanding that I must know them from somewhere as they were being so friendly, when in fact they were trying to pick me up. Once the car was stopped by the police (don't ask) and I got out; once I explained there had been a misunderstanding and they let me out. 2) Leaving my bag at a station late at night and having no means to get home but afraid to risk the wrath of parents, I decided to place all my trust in a total stranger who was very kind, leaving the train and going on a several hour long cross country odyssey with increasingly creepy guy involving various members of the underworld community we met along the way.
