I was so happy when I went in and they said "we'll go ahead and check you in today and induce." Here is hoping for as merciful as a birth as you can have - when that baby is in your arms, your world will become brighter by infinite degrees! Congrats on your baby boy! Author noelle303 Posted March 19, 2011 Author Share Posted March 19, 2011 You're doing great! Breast-feeding does get easier and easier, I promise, I BF all three of my boys. Those first few weeks while your nips adjust are a little rough but that all calms down. Have you had anyone help you learn how to latch to make things go smooth as possible? It's so nice at first when the baby is so tiny and you get some time alone just to fall deeper and deeper in love. I am so jealous! I can't wait! 8 more weeks to go tops for me until my bundle makes an appearance. I did a breastfeeding class when I was pregnant and when I gave birth there was a nurse and a lactation consultant. She latches on just fine, it's just a lot of pain, I'm pumping and feeding constantly and I feel like she's not getting enough. Having three I don't have to tell you how lovely waking up every 2-3 hours for a feed is lol But all in all, she's so tiny and beautiful and perfect Congrats to you too, update about the little one please! pureinheart Posted March 20, 2011 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Hey everyone! I did give birth on Sunday, March 13th, 5.12 am. 6lbs 9oz. My little girl is Savannah and she's beyond perfect and beautiful. We're home now and getting adjusted. From the time my water broke to the time I had her was around 11 hours, so not too bad (although the contractions were longer than that), it was a vaginal birth but with an epidural. Congratulations, LB and Noelle!!!!:bunny: When I had my daughter, I was very surprised at how much love I have for her.
