Science is starting to prove what we already knew to be fact. Women who are slutty also cheat at very high rates. I hear some people argue that this is not the case, however new research shows that this is in fact true. Several papers have been trying to figure out the genetic or biological reason this is true, but so far have not found anything beyond strong trends.

 

So... if you are one of those guys who thinks past sexual behavior doesn't matter... take the blinders off. Promiscuous women are poor choices for long term mates or any kind of emotional investment. Our forefathers acutely understood this. It's time we stop accepting this type of behavior from long term partners!

Are more promiscuous individuals more likely to cheat? Yes. Never doubted it for a second. The higher promiscuity rate, the less they view sex as anything beyond an itch to scratch like eating a chocolate bar. Second, "promiscuity" was defined as "having ever had a one-night stand." Third, this doesn't tell us anything about women. It does tell us a little something about young college students in the Midwest. (Average age is 20.11 years old.) So young college students sometimes have one-night stands and cheat on each other? Get out!

 

I'm more interested in later ages and the impact a sexual history would have in a marriage/long-term partnership. Also, having one one-night stand seems a bit strict in labeling someone as promiscuous.

This association seems obvious to me. But it's probably linked to another factor such as childhood sexual abuse, parental abandonment or death, low self-esteem, untreated addiction, etc.

 

I think when we talk of slutty women, we should remember the other part of the story. The part where daddy crawled into bed with her. Or when she got put into foster care when she was 4. Or raped as a freshman in college.

 

^All of those are examples of women I know. Although, not all of them were ever slutty. But all were deeply harmed.

In fact one genotype the 7R+ produced more promiscuity and the other 7R- produced more infidelity, so it is entirely possible that the "slutty, promiscuous" girl having the 7R+ gene may be promiscuous earlier in life, form a pair-bond and then cease promiscuous activity even though tempted.

 

Doubtful, but almost suggested by the study.

 

Furthermore there was specifically no association between the gene and the gender of the person, or the gender of the person and the actions they took.

 

Nobody should settle for a high-risk partner, unless you are a high-risk partner as well, always match your baggage in a relationship.

I was talking about the safest bet.

 

Personally I would rather be with a woman who has a giant sex drive even if there is a risk that she might stray than a woman who never desires me in that way at all even if that means she would never look at another man ever.

I rarely see women come here and seek advice because their BF has been with lots of other women. In fact most of the women I see enjoy it when the guy is promiscuous... like some experienced wild stallion to break in.

I am not saying I favor a matriarchal society; I do not. I loathe a patriarchal one. I want gender neutral social structure, where people are not categorized and judged based upon their sex. Gender roles and how they are enacted belong in interpersonal relations.

UF, I'm getting the idea that you personally are struggling with the fact that you are very attracted to, as you call them, "slutty" women and you are having a lot of trouble dealing with this. Otherwise, why not just date the type of women that you like? There have always been "slutty" women, even back in the days of the forefathers. Some of them did not even have a choice (like the slave women that Thomas Jefferson used for his sexual pleasure). Anyway, it would be a lot more difficult for women to be "slutty" if there weren't plenty of "slutty" guys to participate. So ... don't.

 

And, honestly, why bother with stuff that has NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU; as in the behavior of women you don't even know? I'd venture to guess that you could use some work on YOURSELF. Why not start there.
