So here we go.

I met this woman a few days ago, Thursday night, and we've been chatting everyday since then. We've touched a broad range of subjects from work, to school, likes, career goals etc. So during one of these conversations she told me she was just out shopping and just spend the last of her money buying some new clothes so I reply back something along the lines of "maybe I'll have to take you to get some lunch one of these days." She laughs and said she would like that, so we settle on sometime next week (noting this was last week so Tuesday or something like that), and we go back to chatting. If she really is out of money I have no idea, it may just have been a subtle attempt for me to ask her out for a bite.

Soon after setting a lunch date she asks me if I want to do anything, and, of course, I'm sitting the parking lot of my work about to head in and unfortunately have to decline. I finally get to go on my lunch break so I shoot her a text, and nothing, text her the next day, still nothing. All of a sudden she calls and asks why I haven't responded to her and she thought I was ignoring her. She says she feels like a stalker sending me over half a dozen texts and me not responding. In this case my phone really was acting up, after silence from her, and 2-3 other people (and getting a call from one of them because I never responded) I called my carrier and they fixed it, no old texts came through, the ones she sent, but the new ones came through just fine. During said phone call she said she was in the neighborhood (this was yesterday), and was wondering if I was free to do anything. Once again I regret that I had to decline. I have had plans with some friends for the past weeks or so and since I was supposed to leave in a few minutes didn't have any free time left, I considered inviting her but going to lunch with other people then hitting a movie probably wouldn't have been the best choice for a first date.

So almost the entire time I'm hanging out with my friends we're texting. She tells me has some free time tomorrow (as in today), and I ask her to dinner. So at this point I'm kinda freaking out a little bit. First off she's out of my league(which obviously for crazy some reason she is at least sorta interested or she wouldn't have been trying to do something sooner and agreed to a date today) Now don't get me wrong when I make this next comment. She is beautiful, that's for sure, but she sent me a picture when I was watching the movie with my friends, all dressed up, hair done all the look pretty stuff woman tend to do and I was stunned. She was drop dead gorgeous. Reason number two for my mini freak-out is because I live in Utah and being a Sunday almost everything is closed today. There's a few nice restaurants open but thats pretty much it, no entertainment other than a movie theater. So basically there's nothing to do after dinner if it all goes well, a little bit too cold to walk anywhere and even if it weren't so cold there's pretty much nothing here. Yes, theres a few parks but mostly built for little kids not the kind of park you'd want to take a date on a romantic walk.

So thats about the gist of it, obviously that isn't the only things we've discussed but a few I'd rather keep to myself. So while I go finish getting ready I'm hoping someone incredible relationship smart is logged on who can supply some advice.
