Foolish?

Hello everybody, I am new here. I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I would appreciate it if I can get some advice. : )

 

Story in short:

 

-I've met a guy in college. To me he is friendly, has good looks, and is always well dressed. He has money, and he works hard in school.

 

-Everyone at school believes that we are dating, and when I first talked to him I've asked him if he mind people thinking we are dating, and he said he doesn't mind.

 

-As I got to know him, I realized that he has a guard over everybody. He feels that people aren't trustworthy, and that I should be aware so that classmates will not use me for homework and such.

 

-We have a "thing" going on, to me, because we would hold hands when we go out, though we never had sex, he would bite my neck and leave little red marks all over my neck, and we used to see each other quite often, with the excuse of homework, or buying furniture for his apartment. Also, he kissed me twice on the lips with an excuse of playing around with saliva..

 

-We bought furniture for his apartment together

 

-He feels i am childish

 

-Where he grew up, everyone had to guard each other, if not they would get lied to

 

-I do some of his homework for him because he is not good with english

 

-Suddenly, the day before study week he ignored me completely, and I felt as though he hates me (friday). On Tuesday of the following week, we went out with my friend (though he came ultra late) and he did not talk to me at all until i confronted him and asked him why. He said nothing happened. Later that night he texted me saying he was just making fun of me but I got serious so he did too.

 

-Now we are just "friends", without the body contact. I still do homework for him but he gets mad very easily with me. Whatever I do, I do to his standards because I am scared he will be mad at me.

 

For example: He took something from me long ago (that belongs to my friend) and I wanted it back today (its nothing expensive, or useful but he likes it). He said its his and i said its mine. After saying that line for 5 minutes i demand that he give it back to me. So he gave it back to me but did not talk to me after that.

 

What is he doing? I do not understand...
