allina
I'm not a very emotional or sentimental woman but I have noticed that when it comes to my husband there are definitely things that touch my heart. I always feel love and appreciation for him but I love the special reminders that show me just how lucky I am to have him. Last week I was going through my old desk top and transferring some pictures to my lap top. I came across an email from my parents that included some pictures of a hike along the coast that we all took back in 2007. There was a picture of me and my husband sitting on a log on the beach, our feet are covered in sand and our hair blowing in the wind. We're looking at each other smiling, I may have been laughing. It's such a cute picture and it made me feel so in love to see us back then looking at each other like that. Back then the word marriage didn't even cross my mind but I knew that he was the one for me. Also, after our wedding we made a cd of all the important songs from our wedding. Sometimes when I'm driving I pop it in and relive all the special moments. There is a song on it that we used for our first dance that I listen to when I'm stressed or angry about something. Hearing it makes me feel so blessed and like all the things that are upsetting me aren't all that bad. So for all you in happy relationships, share something sentimental or special that makes you think of your SO Lets have a happy thread!
Pyro
Awesome thread Allina. I have way too many things to list on here, but anything in reference to Australia is one of the things for obvious reasons. All the places I took CE to while she visited here is another. I guess we're the only sentimental saps on LS  I think that in a LDR these things must stand out even more. The distance is ending fairly soon right?
