start-fresh
I know there are a lot of members in failed/failing marriages, so this might not be the best place to ask, but for those of you with good marriages, I've got a question. Did you ever have any doubts about marrying your spouse? Was there ever any feelings questioning your love, feeling like you were settling, or wanting to change your partner? The logical answer is no, especially when it came to the point of the engagement, but I'm curious about in the initial dating stage, when the honeymoon phase was ending. If so, how did you move past the hangups?
Kivu
No, I didn't question getting married to him, to me it seemed like the best thing that ever happened to me. I questioned it immediately afterward, when he grinned at me and said, "If it doesn't work out, we can always get it annulled!" That is the BEST way to start a marriage. I wish he had said that BEFORE we got married.
