Yeahsussu Posted March 27, 2011 Share Posted March 27, 2011 Hi everyone. My (ex) BF is into a certain type of music, very rave/house/funk music and he often goes to these type of gigs and festivals. When he´s attending these gigs he thinks he´s the coolest kid on the planet and he tries to convert me into liking this type of music too (which I DON´T). Sometimes, especially around friends, I could tell he started acting a bit cocky and sometimes rude towards me. When we hang out they usually play this type of music and talk about it the whole time, and if I´m not showing my enthusiasm about it he gets a bit annoyed at me and rolles his eyes and asks how I cannot like it, "it´s the best music in the world". And he can also make a joke about me to his friends about how I don´t like the music. Sometimes I think he´s gotten totally brainwashed!! It´s mostly his body language that changes when he gets cocky like this, and it totally bugs me. His face gets really focused and to me it seems like he just tries to be so cool when listening and dancing to this type of music. Anyway it usually ends with me coming up with a lame excuse to leave cause I can´t stand being there watching him trying to be someone he´s not. When I´ve mentioned this to him he claims he doesn´t know what I´m talking about... How come guys just have a tendency to get so cocky sometimes?! Link to post Share on other sites
