I have a co-worker that i have known for close to 10 yrs, but we have became friends just in the past 1 1/2 yrs. I go fired so we have kept in touch, he is constantly sending me cards, writing me emails, texting me etc.. He had given me gifts, money and has taken me to dinner a few times also. I have told him before that I dont want a boyfriend, i like being single so I would think that would give him the hint! I havent seen him since Dec because I felt bad him spending money on me and giving me things when i have nothing to give him in return! He wants to take me to lunch, shopping, movies and dinner this sat and i dont know what to say! Ive already tried the sick excuse for jan and feb. he took me to dinner for my bday in oct, once 1 nov and dec. I kinda ignored him last few months, i mean i did answer his emails txts, etc. Just kept making excuses because hes just not my type and hes weird and boring. I think hes also kinda a stalker! he knows everything about me from facebook! and hes not even on facebook!!! i have to answer him today or tomm when he calls me, ive already said that i feel bad him talking me out to dinner and shopping, he just says he wants to, so do i just go along with it since HE WANTS to? Unless the two of you can do something dutch then you are not intrested in him spending money on you. If he says it's ok tell him if he can't deal with your terms you will end the friendship. Please use the word friendship. If he is a friend be honest and don't take this any further before he gets hurt. He's already hurting believe me.
