Arabess
Are you referring to role playing or a relationship which only thrives on an emotional roller coaster???? The first is fine. The latter is NOT healthy. It will rob you of experiencing the true feeling of love.
Renny_H
I think you should allow drama to happen, to test each other. I don't know if you should create it on purpose, coz you might come across as psychotic.
DebraLee
I really hate drama. Sure some people like to have that to add excitement to their lives but Im defiantely not one of those.
OrlandoGirl
I hate drama..i love everything to be in perfect balance and harmony. BUT, not everyone is like that of course. Here's my take on drama though.. if there's too much of it..you're just focusing on that while instead you could be focusing on the relationship as a healthy whole and progressing forward instead of taking steps backwards, sideways and so forth. I mean..a healthy relationship is always progressing is some aspect, the two people in it moving forward in a life that revolves in SOME senses around eachother.. so why halt it with a bunch of doodoo..it's already hard enough making these things work
dyermaker
http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t33972 Drama can work healthily, it depends on what you both plan on drawing emotionally from the relationship, and how much effort you're willing to put in to creating and fostering the drama. priscilla
Occasional drama is going to happen in most relationships. Men and women are just too different. If it is on a consistent basis then no, something is wrong.
rvanne77
Drama is detrimental. Renny What the heck are you giving advice like this for: I think you should allow drama to happen, to test each other. I don't know if you should create it on purpose, coz you might come across as psychotic. Isn't that how you come across in your own current drama? Believer69
Well, my BF is always calling me a drama queen. He seems "ok" with it, because at least I am relaying a point and not keeping it inside. I think in that way it can actually be good for a relationship. Ofcourse, I don't go in saying, "ok I'm going to stir up some drama today." It is just my way of reacting to certain situations in my relationship. I'm not sure if that is what you are referring to.
Arabess
The problem with Drama is that at any point....one of the people involved may get tired of the script and the play closes early.
UCFKevin
I hate drama. Always have. ALways will. I won't stand for it at all. Unless it's play fake drama. Then that's fun.
Believer69
Good Point Arabess, I will have to keep that in mind in my relationship. I definitely over dramatize situations. I do it to prove a point though. I may exaggerate the situation though, and a lot of time it is in fun, and we both will start to laugh and it lightens up the situation a bit. It is also away to get attention, which is probably nt the best way to go about it.
