Is this just down to how my face naturally is, and there can't be anything I can do about it, excpet to force myself to have a permenant fake slight smile all the time? Or could it be that if I felt more happier in life would I just naturally look more happier when I feel normal and not look miserable? Maybe I do feel miserable most of the time, but because I'm so used to it I just see it as feeling normal, and that's why I look the way I look. Even when I feel like I am actually smiling when I take a picture of myself, I don't actually look like I'm smiling, I just look normal instead of miserable. I think if I could get this sorted out it would improve the way others see me and my life Link to post Share on other sites

I always liked that term because I never knew what to call it when it's just your normal, not trying to emote any feeling face. My default face apparently looks sad, because people always ask me what's wrong and tell me I look sad even if I'm not! I don't think your default face looks especially miserable. that's a little harsh. If I saw you at the grocery store it something, I wouldn't think you looked miserable. But if you were engaging with someone, talking, or hanging out with a group of people, I definitely think you should try to smile as much as possible. Even if sometimes you're faking it. Not sure what's going on, but whatever you feel inside reflects outside, and some folks are by nature sad. what's your general mindset? Are you inquisitive? Introspective? Shy? I admire the way you speak from the heart about being single and lonely and how sucky it is. I know you attribute it to your looks but look man, maybe you're just different and it'll take somebody really special for you to click with. That being said, I've sat here staring at your photo for a long time. Wondering how you see yourself. You know what I see? I see a very normal and even (dare I say) cute guy. Your facial features are great. Good nose. Nice blue eyes. Good proportions on everything. You're kinda like me, as in we are a bit fair skinned and sometimes our lashes and eyebrows are a tad light so they don't jump out as much as other peoples. See me.. I can wear dark eyeliner and darken the brows a bit. Since you're a guy it would be a bit harder but ya know... hell... just for ****s and giggles... smudge a little eyeliner around your eyes. Don't guys do that nowadays? Anyway, what I really wanted to say was that you should not think you are unattractive. In fact, honestly... I have to say... you have THE most rockin plump looking lips that I have seen in a long, long time. This coming from someone who seriously made my ex send pictures of his sexy little mouth to me on occasion because everytime I looked at his lips, I would just honestly.... crumble.
