I love my body. I really do.

If I were a man, I would want to have sex with me.

If I were a man, and I am, what you just said would make me raise an eyebrow and imagine... And it did.

There are far too many beautiful women who believe themselves to be ugly, or too fat. It hurts when I compliment them, and they insist that they are overweight and such. It makes me feel that my compliments are never taken seriously.

I totally agree. Even women with "perfect" figures have things that they don't like about themselves. It's always going to be something - your weight, your height, your hair, your nose, your eyebrows...the list goes on and on.

Women of all shapes and sizes need to learn to embrace what God gave them and realize that variety is what makes the world so interesting.

I have never had a problem with my weight, but there was a time when I wanted bigger boobs (in high school). Then I met someone with breast cancer at age 27. Then I felt so bad because I was wanting to change something on my body that was not broken, and here she was losing part of her womanhood.

I mean, being healthy is the most important thing. If you aren't a size 3, but healthy, then that's totally fine.

As the age-old saying goes "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". And beauty comes in many different shapes and sizes.

There's another book which is useful called 'Good girls do swallow'. Cute title too.

I've had an eating disorder. Much happier now that I don't, and I'm still a good weight. I like my body now. It's only taken me 30 years to get there!

Unfortunately.....when it comes to raw sex, men will "do" anyone because it's better than using their hand. I personally believe that every woman has assets that make her beautiful and sexy, and women like Katherine Zeta Jones just have more of those assets than some women do. That does not mean all women have to aspire to be like her.....but in a shallow male world, it is often expected. Your true soulmate will take you as you are.

I thought men liked women who had alittle meat with their potatos or something on those lines. Anyways, who would want to be stick thin. Women are so much more attractive when they have some decent body fat on them. Even the chunkers, many of the have very beautiful faces and with a smile or a certain glow about them, just makes them radiate all over and guys might be attracted to that.

Fat or thin, accept how you look and don;t let anyone bring you down about it.

I WAS skinny :( , I quit smoking, 2 years later I'm plump. Or as the fiancee says I'm comfortable. (That's as much as he will say about my size without his lawyer present) My goal is to lose 25 lbs in the next 14 months.

Anyway my point is when I was skinny 5'4 106lbs and the bf was 5'7 and 160 lb, sex was painful. Pelvic bones crashing together at a rapid rate of speed, is not my idea of pleasurable sex.

I compliment them, and they insist that they are overweight and such. It makes me feel that my compliments are never taken seriously.

You haven't seen us naked.

you are one of the most prime people that need to read this book. This book is an all around book., It tells you the way we were all meant to eat ( as when we we babies- stop when full, eat when hungry, eat precisely what the body is wanting). Stop trying to diet and lose a specific amount of weight and accept you as you are. no diet, no body analyzing or insults. then figure out why you were overeating in the first place. There are two types of hunger they say- Mouth hunger and stomach hunger. THe first one is emotional eating, the second one is the real hunger.

No this isnt a dr phil thing because this book doesnt give a rats ass about losing weight. When people obsess or think about weight loss, things go awry. When you get all the normal and healthy things such as your mind and soul in order, things just work out. I know, ive done it and its totally helped me so much,.

One more idea- if men prefer this, why is FHM's 100 SEXIEST women, all skinny as hell? Do you see a full bodied woman on there? if you do let me know, thanks....

Do you see catlogues out there that have "normal size women"?? Those catlogues that are out there that have normal sized women are meant for the plus sized woman.....

just thoughts.

Unless you are two feet tall, a size 8/9 is a perfectly decent size. Skinny is ugly. No human being should look like bones with skin stretched over. If your husband says he likes your looks, listen. To this very day, studies of men's preferences for women's shapes show they like a rounded body - not large, but absolutely not skinny. Skinny is not appealing to men. Do you like scrawny men? Sorry to all the skinnies, but I used to be real thin. Then, one summer, I went away to my aunts' for a couple of months and gained 13 lbs. People *raved* about how great I looked with the weight on. Really. You are fine.

the whole point of the thread was to accept weight and body.

I used to feel terrible about my body when I was dating my ex. I think that the only reason we ever feel bad about our bodies is because at some point in our life, someone else says something about us that we can't let go of. When I was with my ex, I dropped nearly 10% of my body weight cause he made fun of me for only running a mile 3x a week. My family all thought I had an eating disorder. Sure, I looked kinda cute then, in a very adolescent immature underweight way, but once I got rid of the ex, and gained some weight back, I realized that I got lots more positive attention. Guys LOVE the T & A!!! Just as it isn't healthy to be super thin, it isn't healthy be overweight, but there's nothing wrong with being in shape and healthy, and whatever body type that leaves you with, if it's healthy , you should be happy. That's what makes you feel good. Tits and Ass for miles ladies!!!
