I can't get a guy I care about to care about me.

Getting guys to screw you and leave is easy.

Getting a guy to commit to a serious relationship, is like prying your way into their heart with the jaws of life.

Not a pretty picture, but I couldn't think of a better way to word it.

Silly boys. Why are you so afraid of love?

Guys know right away when they look at you if you are loving potential for them. When they have choices, they got for their first choice. Youre just drawing the short straws.

Getting a woman to commit to a serious relationship is like using a blowtorch to cut into a gasoline tank. Just when you think you've got it... blooey!!!

maybe the girls you're going after aren't interested? maybe they just want to be friends...

then again, I don't become friends with guys I have no interest in. I just don't. I have a strict policy that guys and girls cannot be friends and I'm a girl saying this.

I'm not afraid of love. I don't bleep women and just con them. That's not right. Sometimes I wish I weren't so upstanding. But I am.

That's actually very interesting - I'm a guy who actually has more female friends than I do male friends. However, finding someone who wants more than friendship is next to impossible.

I'm certainly not afraid of love - I was with the same person for thirteen years, and was married to her for eight of them. I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with her. :(

It's funny how the world works - sometimes I think it's a miracle the human race has survived as long as it has

Nothing wrong with that. Kudos. Very hard to find guys like you.

first of all, it may have to do with the age of the guys you are dating with. Most guys will only want to settle down in their 30s. Also a guy already has a picture of who he wants to marry, what kind of girl should he marry in his head. I hardly come across a guy who "didn't know what he want". Until the guy marries, he will fool around and just be "friends" with all his female companions and maybe you're just that to them right now?

On a dating site, one guy actually confessed to me that he has commitment issues (and yeah, he didn't put that down on his profile) but he said he got engaged to a girl but broke it off and the girl was very hurt. He said there was nothing wrong with the girl but he was just too scared. There's a huge red flag there.

If I were you, I would stay away from guys whom you know are not marriage material. Why waste time?

At 26, every guy is a waste of time. They don't grow up until waaaayyyy too late in my books.

Not necessarily. I know some very steady-headed men in their early twenties. It all depends on their value system, imo. Same goes for girls.

It's GIGS. You should check out the statistics and the population of male to female ratio. Typically men know they have the pick of the lot if women outnumber men.

Capitalized- GIGS: Grass Is Greener Syndrome. It's not just restricted to relationships, GIGS is common among singles in their early twenties to late thirties.

If you want to be loved, be lovable.

And always make the guy work for sex. The effort he puts in going for it, will subconsciously reinforce that he likes you. Eventually, if he likes you, and is getting some, that's a foundation for him sticking around, falling in love.

No, no, no! We do not use our "lady parts" to keep a guy. You're right, I will make the guy work for sex. meaning, there will be a rock on my finger before we have sex. I don't care if it's a rock out of a cracker jack box, just as long as he signs the papers that say he's not leaving me before we do the deed.

I'm a Christian. Sue me.

That sounds fine.

I have no problem with that stance, and used to follow it myself....

Honestly I don`t see what`s so wrong with spending your twenties having fun and dating whoever you like.

I`ve never met any twenty-something male or female who was mature enough for marriage.
