Women, If You were a Man, Would You Marry?

Kristi can't sleep
Don't take this the wrong way but it seems that women like her just don't exist anymore. My first marriage was just pure hell and after that I said the hell with women so I am shocked I actually found a good one

No, I didn't take it the wrong way because it's true - both ways. Husbands complain their wives do nothing but nag, Wives complain their husbands are lazy and don't want to do anything with them... and most of the time, they're right - but there are exceptions, and you found one.

Woggle, it is HARD to genuinely trust people - I had a bad relationship before my current one too and my father was... just your garden variety **shole I guess, but an abusive mother is HARSH - that's so incredibly hard to overcome - but you must've come a looong way or you wouldn't have your exceptional wife.

Yes, marriage is a gamble, but if you WIN, it's worth everything. Wouldn't it be nice just to let go and actually believe that you can trust your wife 100%? Just think: all these people on here are looking for what you have right now - so enjoy it! - with what you've dealt with from women, maybe you've earned it :)

...and you are far too skeptical to be taken twice, lol.

Oh, and please excuse me for the "you shoulds" and advice - you just look SO MUCH like my son that my annoying mother attitude just sort of kicked despite the fact that I only have 6 or 7 years on you.

*sorry!*

Thank you and I realize it is probably just as hard for women trying to find a good relationship. It is a great era if you want to do nothing but hook up but trying to find something more is just rough. It's the world in general as well. Sometimes I don't even feel like watching the news because it just depresses me.

I realize how lucky I am with what I have. Not too many people man or woman find it. We just bought a boat and maybe one day you will see going by while passing over the bridge.

I hope one day your husband realizes what he has before it is too late.

I think so many people spend so much time slinging **** at one another to avoid their own issues instead of trying to become the best person and partner that they can be. As well people generally have so little compassion for error or fault that we don't even try to understand the "why's."

I now have tried to reverse my filter to not look at the overwhelming amount of grief in this world, or even heartbreak but to try and look at the happier and calmer end of things. For instance your marriage Woggle gives me hope that there is light at the end of this tunnel one way or the other. Everyone knows that hearts get broken but not everyone knows that they can be mended like yours was. (now you just gotta stop getting your intensity fix by looking for misery and cheating ;)).
